The verse tells us that, the praise of God will continually be in our mouth and show forth his marvelous works. Examples of his marvelous works are his loving kindness, his healing, his tender mercy, his protection, his provision, his new spirit given unto us, his deliverance to those who are oppressed etc. His praise will not depart from my mouth. His praise shall be from generation to another.

  • Toni on Psalms 9:10 - 10 years ago
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me. " John 10 20. Those who spend time in prayer daily and call on the name of Jesus sincerely, they know without a shadow of a doubt, that He is real. If we truly know Him, then we know in whom our help comes from and that is from the Lord God above. When we seek His face with our whole heart, God will reveal Himself to us. It 's through this daily fellowship, that the people of God are made assure that no matter what trials we face, God will be with us and bring us through with a mighty hand. This is only for those who seek after Christ and not the world. To those people, God will never leave them abandoned, stranded nor neglected.

Though all flesh is grass, I still feel that David is a shining example of faith for every believer. This passage exemplifies his full reliance upon the Lord. His close walk with God has left him with a confidence that shines through.
As a child of God, forgiven and paid for, I long to be a man after the heart of my Lord and David's ensample to the flock has much good. I know that it is impossible to please God without faith and that is exactly what it was about David that pleased God... his full trust on HIM.

Those who knows HIS name shall not be forsaken because they are the ones who seek HIM and put their trust on HIM ( Psalm 9:10). GOD shall judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS and shall minister judgement to the people in UPRIGHTNESS ( Psalms 9:8). As HE said, "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" ( Ephesians 6:11).

Yes, the word of God is awsome, and i want everyone to hear it.But only afew will hear God's voice,as it is written,"My sheep hear My voice, and they follow me",but also the word say's that it's a king's honor to search out a matter.Read all of God's word and don't worry about understanding it all,it will be giving to you when you are ready for it(understanding, wisdom, knowledge)by Jesus himself(GOD).I give all the praise and honor to Him,for He alone is worthy to be praised.Have mercy Lord, for we know not what we do and give us hope for the thing's we cannot see and touch, yet they are still there!Blessed be the name of the Lord,I worship you because you are GOD!!!
  • Donna on Psalms 9 - 14 years ago
I agree, and I praise God so much for sending forth His only begotten Son; His Word; His righteousness, to be born into the world in that body of the form of a man, to take our place of sin, and death, and that we may be in Him, and Him in us, and that we may, in the name of Jesus, take authority over all the power of the enemy that seeks to seduce, lure, and distract, mankind from God's Word. For, the real enemies of all mankind are devils, that work to pervert and corrupt the righteousness of God in the eyes, and ears, and minds, of mankind, as it is written
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, CONDEMNED sin in the flesh:
For this cause He came, and for this cause may we more and more lift Him; our Head; God's Word; God's Power, UP, declaring Him; declaring the Word of God; Lifting Him up with our voices, over all the power of then enemy, and that as many of mankind as will hear, and receive Him, will hear, and receive Him. For, as surely as Christ Jesus was raised up, upon the cross, we raise Him up that is risen, and victorious, when we declare Him; God's Word, Who is our HEAD; our Lord, and Saviour. As it is written,
Psalms 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies ROUND ABOUT ME: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
    And, as it is written,
John 12:32 And I, IF I BE LIFTED UP from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Our Heavenly Father will chastise His people as sorely as necessary, all those that continue in sin, doing all He can to get their attention, their eyes upon Him, their hearts seeking His merciful forgiveness, because there is no sin worth spending eternity in eternal damnation, and there is no chastisement so sore that it would not be worth it all, should it move one to call upon the Lord, to repent of his/her sins before God, and be saved from the wages of sin, which is death in eternal damnation.
