Psalms is very good to read when no one else is there. Once you have read this passage your thinking changes into positive instead of negative thoughts.
Psalms 23 has been embedded so deep in me, I decided, to live with no worries, have tears of joy, able to just live like, an eagle, up so high, that can sit so high, and look so down below.
This Psalm really strengthens my faith in God. I'm financially broke, but I know I shall not want. As long as I commit my day in God's hand, he will lead me in the right paths.
My mother always kept me in church. I really didnt understand at that time I have been through so much. I grew away from going to church, I got older I was breaking but every time I picked up a bible. I always as today read Psalm 23. I returned to church and I carried my bible as soon I sit down, I open the bible to Psalms 23 before my Pastor could reach the his pulpit. Nobody but the lord knows his words, that he guides me to he bring me a mighty long way I still battle because the devil doesnt like it when you call Jesus.
I believe there is a death of the generational curses that are dying. A very deep place and shadow of something that follows one that the Lord is bringing out of death for blood line curses, and God comforting us, keeping us safe because we are the forerunners of generation line. Some of us might go through more warfare then others in family. After its over, theres anointing upon head and table in the midst of all enemies.
I love this scripture. An older woman of God, gave me this scripture at a time when I was going through with my daughter, she told me whenever my daughter come and go, look at her an say "the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want". This has become one of my favorite scriptures, I read it just like if its a daily medicine I have to take. I love it!!!
I love to repeat Psalms 23 everyday because I get much joy out of it, also it gives me great Peace knowing the Lord is my shepherd and I don't have to want for anything, now I just keep the Faith and smile.
I can truly say that the Lord is my Shepherd and hes my strength and strong tower. Hes there every time I call on the name Jesus. Theres none like him in time of loneliness or fear. Without him I would have been nothing.
It stands out to me the most right now, facing a struggle, that David says "thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies". Imagine David in front of a multitude of his enemy. God comes a long and prepares a feast in front of them and David can sit down before them and eat without fear. The enemy stands, looking at David as he eats calmly and without concern because he knows that God is in control and will bind his enemies to give David peace at that point. When I read that I like to imagine that is what David pictured in his mind.
Every morning without failing, confess this verse you will lack nothing. Hebrews 10:23, keep on confessing your hope, because the One who promised is faithful.
God is letting his children know that he alone is their shepherd and no one else. Jesus has called us to share in his abundant grace by washing us in his OWN blood so we could be the true partakers of his DIVINE inheritance. HE CALLED US TO GLORY AND EXELLENCE AND HE PROVIDES FOR ALL OUR SPIRITUAL AND MATERIAL NEEDS SO THAT OUR JOY IN HIM MAY BE FULL. REMEMBER THIS, A GOOD SHEPHERD NEVER LET HIS SHEEP STARVE. HE IS JEHOVAR JIREH.
I also awoke this morning with old memories, like so many other times. I love Psalms 23, as it carries me through those dark shadows and clears my mind. I know that the Lord is walking with me wherever I go.
