Psalm 23 mentioned three things. They are the green pasture, quiet waters and soul restoration. It started with strong words like; 'i shall not want', and ended with high hopes; surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of life. our Lord Shepherd indeed promised ideal pasture and plenty of water. He even restores our soul with righteousness, comfort and joy in the midst of our foes .
This Psalm always strengthens my faith by letting me know that whatever is happening at the present in my life that i have nothing to fear because i am only going through it if i keep the faith and continue to obey and trust God. By staying focused on Him and His Word. This psalm let me know that i am/have to walk through, not run,or ride through but walk through whatever is going on.
Praise the Lord to all Psalm 23 gives me Hope. Reminds me that Jesus will never allow me to be in need of any good things. Jesus is with me throughout my deepest valleys to bring me safely back on the mountain top. All I need to do is to pray, praise worship Him. Amen
I believe every awaken mornings as we open our eye's,
We witness God's Glory love and protection
And we should recite the 23rd psalms
Each and every morning before our feet touches the ground
And surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow us
All the day's of our lives and we will dwell in the house of the Lord's for ever.Aman and Aman

He restoreth my soul. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake. HalleluYahweh the Great Shepherd!

I have survived 23 yrs after Cancer and 20 years of those years were after losing a daughter in a car accident as well. The 23rd Psalms was what I held on to. My daughter was a Christian and I KNOW WE WILL SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN SOON. I AM 63 but will endure as long as God want me HERE. Believe that Jesus Christ is our Hope.
This Psalm just ignites something inside of me, its different and I love how the meaning is hidden and can only be understood by those who can relate. "The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want". If the Lord is all we have then it is all we need. If we are poor in all the temporary things on earth, we are rich with our Father in Heaven. All I'm saying is, what more can we want but the Lord.
I too learned the 23 Psalm in my youth and more recently in my older years, now age 65, I look to it for strength and promise of his peace here on Earth. This Psalm of David moves my heart and soul like no other prayer I have learned in my life. I dismissed it for many years until a Catholic workplace friend of faith had stated it is her favorite. Thank you for the synopsis of the prayer.
I learned to memorize this 23rd psalm when I first started to church when I was a small child. I am almost 80 now and I repeat it every night before I start my prayers. It is so comforting and beautiful. God gave us the most beautiful words to worship him. God is so good and comforting. I love him always and forever.
Praise the Lord. I have had some hills to climb, some dark valleys. But JESUS was my Lilly in the valleys. Reading Psalm 23 daily reminded me that, JESUS is always with me though the road seem rough. He is my Shepherd who restores me and leads me in His righteousness. Praise GOD.
The 23rd Psalms resurrected my life this past week. I went from life support to a new day. God has really changed my life this week and also a lot of ppl in the process. I will never doubt him, bc He's real..
My Mom started quoted the 23rd Psalm everyday when She went through a deep valley.
I have to say, Jesus Blessed Her and I know that the enemy was trying to destroy Her.
Thankyou Lord for Your Word !
