Jesus oversees the Bema Seat judgement of born again believers: with rewards, loss of rewards, or Crowns.

God oversees the Great White Throne Judgement.
  • Mishael on the Judgment Seat of Christ - In Reply on Psalms 1:5 - 4 years ago
2 Corinthians 5:10, this is the Bema Seat judgment of Christ, for believers who accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. It's like a review of your life as a Christian on Earth.

It is to receive rewards or to lose rewards.

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

There will be crowns given for various things. Which I think I read that we will place the crowns at the feet of Jesus.

It's a solemn occasion, but also a happy event. You're not going to lose your salvation.

What we learn from the New Testament is HOW to follow Jesus and become a disciple.

How did we respond to his teaching? when I was hungry; you fed me. When I was naked, you clothed me. When I was sick, you visited me, etc. There's all kinds of ministries we can join or support with our giving, or time. Be generous and do not begrudge having to do it. You do it as unto Jesus, and no others. It is not for personal glory. It's about the blessings of obedience.

I think in 1 Corinthians 12, we see that we can ask the Holy Spirit for gifts or administrations, for the purpose of relieving suffering and lack in believers and the unsaved. That perhaps by your love and mercy, the unsaved will come to Jesus through your ministry to them. It is so simple to ask them if you can lead them in a prayer of repentance and to receive Jesus as their Savior too. The soul winners Crown.

A year ago I set myself down to really study all that Jesus said; how he related to all people; the religious; the demonic; the public in general. We have to slow down from speed reading, to actually process how Jesus was ministering and teaching His Disciples. Jesus is the Son of Man: all God and all man in one body. He set aside his power as Gods Son, to be amongst humankind. How do you respond to that? We're not saved to just occupy a pew on Sunday. Search ourselves...

In Psalms 1:5 does this mean that people who are not saved will not stand before Jesus on judgement day? I never thought about this,I guess why would they, after all they will be in hell or on the way to hell.

Someone sent this to me. I have loosely titled: Tolerance of evil.

"Our great and mighty God, who created all things; even evil

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. ( Isaiah 45:7)

Has pulled the plug on this evil world. He ALLOWED all this to happen....ok if you don't want Me in your nation and you allow your enemies to invade your land with their idols and their sorceries and witchcraft and gods of wood and gods of stone who neither see nor hear....you want to pass your children through the fire of abortion and have your men marry men and your women marry women....

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. ( Revelation 18:2)

....and I will send a famine, not just of food but also of the Word.....no more will the voice of the Bride be heard or the voice of the Bridegroom......you want to kick me out of your nation.....welcome to your New Boss

Judgment begins at the house of the Lord then the cup of His indignation is poured out on everyone else, who have taken the mark and who blaspheme the Most High. Woe unto them"

Deborah: one of satans names is Destroyer. Just like he did with Eve, he studies us to see where he can break in; to steal, kill and destroy.

The first step to be truly free is to FORGIVE every person who has hurt you; or that you have hurt. It is you closing the Door that the demons entered. Forgive Yourself. Every time that strongman demon accuses you of unforgiveness; say it again: even a 1000 times till it takes root in your soul and mind. Say it out loud. Heaven and Hell are listening.

This person has opened a door (drugs) so that Satan, or his demons can oppress them. Notice I did not say possess. The war is taking place in your MIND. The mind is talking up a storm or it is calm and settled on Jesus. We don't have to pray Big long inspired prayers. If one just prays "Jesus" out loud...everything in heaven and under heaven, jumps into action. Demons flee and angels surround the person they seek.

    Close the doors.

When I was set free from drugs I was DONE with putting things in my mouth that hurt me. I poured out the alcohol, flushed all the pills, and sat on the sofa to be killed by the DT's. (Detox reactions). I waited all day and went to bed exhausted. I felt sure detox would kill me the next day. I waited and waited. Then it dawned in my mind that maybe Jesus had set me free?! Days piled upon days. I began to praise the Lord for setting me Free! I drove by liquor stores and didn't pull in.

Best part is my mind cleared. I slept like a normal person. I gave attention to my family. I was no longer the lone focus of my life. I cooked food and enjoyed it, but did not allow it to be used by demons to destroy my health. They will use anything!! Food got Adam & Eve thrown out of Eden. Pray over everything that goes in your Mouth.

Weeks turn into months into years. The date you started to wait to die is a billboard in the past. Give praise to the Lord for showing you how to be free. Help someone else to get free. Stay free.

He sure did. When one (as David did) depends so much on the Lord, for provision, safety, companionship, wisdom, etc., the natural recourse is to talk it over with the Giver of Life & Love. This tells me how far short we fall in our communing with our Heavenly Father, Who not only gives us all that David received, but far more, a sure salvation through His only begotten Son. We have much to talk to God about & to praise Him for.

Boy,David sure could talk to God,When he. was happy, sad. Then when he was. scared and he talk to GOD some. more. Read Psalm 18:1-3 David like to talk. So much.

Also the unGodly can not give good advice . Ask God for wisdom , it's found through out the Bible ...

What was the Miracle Of Astounding Proportions? - Matthew 14:15-21; Mark 6:35-44: Like 9:12-17; John 6:5-14. Jesus words in ( Matthew 14:16) carried a higher spiritual cogitation; He is the 'Bread of Life', therefore, the Body of Christ is to be fed regarding the Word of God. God has an order and method by which His heavenly Blessings are divinely distributed. Reading from verse 19 of Matthew 14: (He took, He blessed, He did break, and He gave to the Disciples - that is His order with Believers as well). One of the divine Principles of Breaking Limits is ALWAYS to give 'Thanks' (cf. John 6:11). It is from God whence all blessings come. We must ever seek His Face for leading an.

But these TARES, having God's power-but NOT FROM God, directly-but INSTEAD by-way-of devils, DO great works ( Matthew 24:24-25; Exodus 7:8-12; Exodus 7:15-22; Exodus 8:5-7; BUT God may limit them as in Exodus 8:16-19; Exodus 9:8-11), and fool men into becoming ensnared by Satan (which is MY assumption, not direct witnessing). AND these, as now BONDED to the Devil, DO the Devil's desire-destroying ALL which is in the eye of their scope. Destroying both air, land, AND sea. Both insect, plant, man AND beast. As they LIE as they worship said VERY THINGS! Praying to the heavens-moon, sun, AND trees! And they HATE with an CRUEL hate, with a fiery INTENSITY, all those, whose right-ways, shine the

    2 Corinthians 12:19-20

Again think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ:
But we do all things, dearly beloved, for
    your EDIFYING.
For I fear lest when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as you would not; lest there be DEBATES, envyings, wraths, STRIFES, BACKBITING, whispering, swellings, TUMULTS.
Keep studying these scriptures so we can lay to rest who is acceptable to be born again. Spirit of Adoption.

Robert: Psalms 1: & 2 is saying to walk/follow God law not mans, Gods law is the law He wrote with His own finger the Ten Commandments. In Psalms 1:4 & 5 it tells us the ungodly are those who do not walk/follow God's law but go against the Ten Commandments, they will not stand in the judgment for they have not followed Gods laws but mans. Being scornful is feeling or expressing contempt or derision..If we are following God and His laws we will not be scornful..If we do then we must repent. I used to be this way watching the news, I quit watching and it changed my whole attitude and outlook, only get enough snippets of news to keep up, that's it..God Bless..
  • Bendito Palavra - In Reply on Psalms 1 - 4 years ago
The scornful mentioned here would be those that reject and ridicule the LORD and his ways. In that seat, they influence others to follow in their wrong path to ruin. I suggest using the word search at the top left of the chapter page to search other instances of the word "scorn" for more insight. We must be careful in our standing for truth that we don't become revilers, with verbal abuse, toward those who are blind to the good news of Jesus Christ, but rather pray the LORD would open their understanding.
  • Robert Sefton on Psalms 1 - 4 years ago
In Psalms 1, the Word says not to sit in the seat of the scornful. Sometimes when I am watching the national news, I become a little scornful of what the liberal news is trying to promote. My wife gets a little upset at me. Do you think that you could clear this up for me?

Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
  • Fred e Scanlan on Psalms 1 - 4 years ago
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up". God is mighty, He will prevail in and with you, if you will come to Him in humility, asking for forgiveness through Christ for His shed innocent blood to cover you, cleansing us from all unrighteousness. The Lord of Hosts calls you to come unto HIM, all ye that are distressed and heavy laden. In Him you will find comfort even now!Our God is a mighty God!
