True deliverance to me is when we totally sale out to God. We become a vessel for God we are no longer our own. The word says we have been brought with a price purchased with the blood of Jesus. There is some one in Africa that are living for Jesus saved and highly favored. You can be cursed any where right over here in the United States. The word says whom God curse cant no man bless and whom God bless cant no man curse.

That is true when God comes and gather all his people (the believers) there will be no one left but the none believers.
  • Alex Karlins on Psalms 1 - 3 years ago
It occurs to me, that God, is the supreme leader of the Universe. He created the Earth, and will send an angel, or possibly Jesus Christ, his son, to gather up all of the lost souls at the end of the world's existence. All of the true believers will go to heaven, if their sins are forgivable.

However much we love God we are still human , all humans sin , David was human . He made mistakes just like we all do , when we recognise our sin we are able to ask God for forgiveness through Jesus Christ ,our sinless high priest in heaven .

  • WHAT HAPPENS TO GRASS AND TREES - In Reply on Psalms 1 - 3 years ago
    BOOK OF REVELATION

Revelation 9:4 | View whole chapter

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Revelation 8:7 | View whole chapter

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

    2 PETER 3:10

It's all going to burn up. There is no surviving and rebuilding. The earth will be no more. For a thousand years. It will be created new again, as it was in the Garden of Eden. No sin. No sickness. No death. Only joy.

The Bible says MAKE A CHOICE. LIFE OR DEATH. NOW.

If the CAUGHT UP (Rapture) takes place before your doubting eyes it will be too late to make that choice. Be at peace with your choice now.

Find out for yourself what the Bible says. Every Walmart on earth has one.

    Matthew 24

    Luke 21

    2 Peter 3

    Revelation

Matthew Henry's Bible commentary is one of the most popular Bible study resources available online today. Each day millions of Christians search for, read, and learn from his commentary on the internet, even though it is centuries old. Yet many people wonder if his commentary is good.

Matthew Henry's Bible commentary is a very good resource, according to those who use it for personal Bible study and for teaching and preaching preparation. People like it because it's easy to understand and because Henry is very quotable.

    You can Google his biography

Amen, Cassundra! The Power Of CHRIST, Found In HIS ALL-Sufficient GRACE!:

"And HE Said Unto me, MY GRACE Is Sufficient For thee: For MY Strength Is Made Perfect In weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that The Power Of CHRIST May Rest Upon me!" ( 2 Corinthians 12:9)

If Lucifer was created perfect and, presumably, had the Holy Spirit dwelling within him, then how could sin have begun within him?

I'm looking for a passage concerning spiritual growth. Tho we are wasting away our Spirit grows stronger.
  • Chris - In Reply on Psalms 1 - 3 years ago
Shirley, that verse could be otherwise read: 'The ungodly will not be able to stand guiltless (or, able to endure) that time of coming judgement'. Likewise, 'sinners won't be able to stand guiltless in the congregation of the righteous'.

The sinner & ungodly person will stand out like 'sore thumbs' when having to stand before their Great Judge, & standing with those who are the accepted of the Lord, those coming with clean hearts & hands.
  • Shirley Bearden on Psalms 1 - 3 years ago
Verse 5: The ungodly shall not stand in the judgement?
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Psalms 1 - 3 years ago
Brother Stan, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding. Most of the Psalms are prophecies pointing to the NEW COVENANT. Christ already knows the END. He knows because HE SPOKE THE WORDS before the foundation of the world. They are coming to fruition at HIS APPOINTED TIME. (his works)

    Ecclesiastes 3:1-9

Hebrews 4:3 For we which have believed do ENTER INTO (SABBATH) REST, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into MY (SABBATH) REST: although THE (his) WORKS were FINISHED from the foundations of the world. Christ has been RESTING since those first six days; you are defiling the SABBATH if you are not also resting (IN CHRIST'S WORKS): THE WORKS ARE DONE (COMPLETE).

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor setteth in the seat of the scornful.

Christ is declaring kis WORKS that the death and resurrection of HIMSELF will bring to mankind. At his APPOINTED TIME in each of us. HIS WORKS!

Proverbs 16:6 BY MERCY and TRUTH iniquity is purged.....(his works)

Romans 2:4...not knowing that THE GOODNESS of God leadeth thee to REPENTANCE? (his works)

Isaiah 27:12 And it shall COME TO PASS in that day (NEW COVENANT) (day of the Lord)... ye shall be gathered ONE by ONE (appointed time)...(his works)

Revelation 21:3 ...Behold, the tabernacle (temple) of God is with men...CHRIST IN YOU (his works)

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that YE are the temple of God (new heaven), and that the SPIRIT of God DWELLETH IN YOU. (his works)

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein (new Jerusalem), for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb ARE THE TEMPLE OF IT (CHRIST IN US). Accomplished at the NEW COVENANT. Death and resurrection of Christ. New heaven (NEW dwelling place of God) and new earth (new body; no longer dust, but THE GLORY OF GOD)! (his works)

In Psalms 1-1 what does it mean not to stand in the way of sinners.

This is where we present the Lord to them.
