    Hi Lester, all of us on this Site are like you: asking questions, entering into discussion, learning, etc. So, answering a question will depend on who sees your question & if they are able to answer it. So, it shouldn't take too long (I think I answered yours fairly quickly yesterday), but sometimes people don't get an answer for a longer time or not at all. There are some of us 'regulars' here that try to help when we can & sometimes others offer comments also so you can get answers that you can consider & decide. Blessings.

    In Greek, the word for 'ought' is 'tis', which can mean 'anyone, someone, or something'. Given the context of Mark 11:25, it appears that Jesus is referring to 'some matter, grievance or sin' committed against someone - to forgive first then start praying for God's forgiveness is what's needed. I assume the sinful heart, including hypocrisy, are prohibitive for God to act.

    Time is an amending factor in all that got graces us with. Patience is a practice virtue of discipline and structural resgin. Education with growth development gives opportunity to many statues of governed office to expand with greater opportunity to offer offenders positive release options.

  • Why is wisdom referred as a woman - In Reply on Proverbs 3:15 - 4 years ago
    1:20-21; 2:2-4; 3:14-18; 4:7-8; 8:1-36 and 9:1-12. Each time wisdom speaks. The first time wisdom speaks is in Proverbs 1:20-21.

    Wisdom shouts in the street,

    She lifts her voice in the square;

    At the head of the noisy streets she cries out;

    At the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings: Proverbs 1:20-21 (NASB)

    The Hebrew word for wisdom is hakmot and this noun is a feminine plural. A literal reading would seem to be "Wisdom shouts in the street," except that the second line is in the singular - "she lifts her voice." F. C. Cook writes,

    In the Hebrew the noun is a feminine plural . . . as though this Wisdom were the queen of all wisdoms, uniting in herself all their excellences.[1]

    That is, since Proverbs 2:6 says that God gives wisdom, the wisdom in Proverbs is the queen of all wisdoms. There is no greater wisdom.

    For the LORD gives wisdom;

    From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;

    He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;

    He is a shield to those who walk uprightly . . . Proverbs 2:6-7 (NKJV)

    Why Is Wisdom A Woman?

    Why did Proverbs personify wisdom as a woman? The answer is we do not know because Scripture never tells us. However, many have speculated why wisdom is personified as a woman by suggesting different ideas, but we are never told. The explanations are merely speculation. It is wrong to state that Proverbs is written from a father to his son and then suggest that wisdom is personified as feminine in order to make wisdom appear attractive to the son when Proverbs 5:15-20 warns men to avoid prostitutes. Such a conclusion is contrary to the teaching of Scripture.

    Others suggest that wisdom is feminine because the Hebrew word is assigned the feminine gender. But this conclusion is wrong since the grammatical structure clearly refers to a female such as in Proverbs 3:13-15 and 9:1.

    Google this question. Mishael

    I do not have a complete answer on your question of Why is wisdom a she. However, here are some things I learned, that are facts. In the judgment upon Adam and Eve, in Genesis chapter three, because Adam was the husband, he makes the final decision with the input of his wife. Adam chose against Jesus, and chose sin and death. Adam could of stopped the fall of man by saying no to Eve. It was the man's failure. 2. The son of Jehovah, Jesus, was born of The Holy Ghost in an immaculate conception and the seed of a Woman, Mary. The man, and his seed was not selected, but the seed of a woman. 3. In Jesus' resurrection he appears first to the women, and not to the Apostles. I learned that the faith of the women was greater than the Apostles, and the Apostles struggled to believe Jesus' prophecy about himself, and failed to believe the women. The women were of a stronger faith, and believed Jesus' teachings more than the Apostles. 4. In the beginning, the male and female were made in the image of God Genesis 1:27. Thus, the female is equal to the male, in her soul. 5. A woman's special role of bearing children and being a Mother provides her insight into her Creator Jesus, that the men shall never have. The Song of the Woman's soul sings her love song to her baby in the womb for the entire gestation, and creates a love bond between mother and child, that the father does not have.

    Psalms 119:9 " Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word."

    Spending time in God's word will cleanse you spiritually as well as physically.

    I say spiritually first because I know christians with physical ailments that were given these as a cross to bear. Yet many find that God's grace is sufficient for them.

    Matthew 24:35 states: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall no pass away."

    Matthew 24:36 states: "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." This confirms that Only God - taken literally from this verse, only Jesus' Father knows the end times.

    The only confusing aspect to this is that in my KJV this writing is in red which indicates it is Jesus' words, Jesus says "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.", which on the face of it, suggests not even He [Jesus] knows the hour or the day, but we know he does know, because of the Holy Trinity, meaning that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are one. Meaning Jesus is also the Father, and is therefore God in human form.

    Peace and love be with you, Amen

    why wouldn't Jesus know the end of time when he is the Christ the son of the living God the begining and the end he know all things
  • Adam - In Reply on Proverbs 3 - 4 years ago
    I personally believe we aren't in the end times yet- that is just my opinion. Some is confirmation bias. I think the end will be a surprise- not even Jesus knows when. But there will be birthpains and antichrists and great deceivers. I think a virus pandemic occasionally is just normal randomness. It hasn't killed very many people actually, compared to any other normal diseases like flu which affect millions.

    With the heart man can believe unto righteousness.For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, believing he is able and wise to do what is best.My son, forget not my law but let thine heart keep my commandments:Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.

    Beneath the heart is a hidden meaning, meaning of words or a truth you believe in, beyond the faith is a hidden yonder , too many lives wasted as people sit and ponder, .... above the faith is the power of hand , spreading the seeds of a flower we call understand , understand me now as i spread thy word ... how many pens do you share with a blank open black book

    proverbs chapter 3 is a chapter that helps me gain insight into the word of God .Whenever i needwisdom, or understanding i learn to trust in the Lord rather than leaning on my own understanding. I have learned to acknowledge God instead of myself knowing that he is the one who will direct my path and that i can know i wont be disappointed as long as i trust him and not myself. And im trusting him
