You do not know what shall be on the morrow. You may make plans , but be flexible enough to go a different route for that day. Never face your day untill you have had alone time with God our Father to direct our path. Then you will have the Grace to meet what is ahead and know what to do.
Verse 21 shows that the way we react when we receive praise can be a test of whether we are humble or proud. If we are not careful, praise can develop with in us feelings of superiority or pride.
Verses 5,6: sometimes we are afraid to share with someone we care about what they are doing wrong for fear of rejection, but we are doing them more harm by our silence. We need to for the opportunity then share what it maybe then pray some more and step back let God be God. If they don't listen you have done your part to watch out for their good.
Proverbs 27:2 causes me to search myself to see if I have fallen into the habit of self promotion. I am certain I have from time to time. This scripture leads me to ask the Lord to forgive me, seek wisdom and repent.
23-27 This is a phenomenal revelation We are reproved to maintain our livestocks even when the seasons are dry, by gathering hay when the valleys are green and herbs when mountains flourish. HalleluJAH! to the only wise God of all eternity! Amen.
Correction is protection, and having a teachable spirit will always point us in the direction of the will of God for our lives. God works through people with uncommon courage, and He will always provide for His children. You may be brave, but at some point in your life, you will inevitably hit that wall. The Word of God says in 2Sam. 17:10, "And even he who is brave, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, will utterly melt. Yield to the faithful friend:o

We ought to trust the comments and correction from friends who know and love us. Iron sharpens iron. This will help us to judge ourselves that we be not judged. Sometimes self perception is not true reality....

I understood the proverb, but the literal help with iron, that is really cool, and countenance defined is helpful too. Proverbs 27:19 As in water face answers to face, so the heart of man to man. We must always be willing to rebuke a man to his face, and his heart will receive it better. Too many people will gossip about a man, rather than give the rebuke that he needs. Open rebuke is better than secret love.
