We are to do right by the fatherless, and widows.
Whom the Lord loves he disciplines every son that he receives, and that is so that we will be partakers of his holiness. Alway honor thy father, and mother even when they are old. We are not to strive to be rich, but rather seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto us. A little wine is good for your infirmities sake, but be not drunk with wine. Rather be filled with the spirit. Stay away from drunkards, gluttons, and women of the night. This is a great proverb to study, and meditate on with our love ones. When we are filled with the spirit, we will not fullfill the lust of the flesh.
Proverbs23-24�The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice. This passage clearly refers to our heavenly Mother, distinct from �she that bare thee� The Almighty maker of heaven and earth can not be contained by simple gender. inequ
CH23 "Consider Diligently what is before you"!!!
What is before us in Ch23, are the "Big 3-Fold Deceptions"! 1Jo. 2;16 For all that is in the world,(1) the lust of the flesh, (2) the pride of life, and (3) the lust of the eyes, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
PRIDE OF LIFE: Vs1 ruler= power,wealth,or pride. His banquet intices the man of God, to partake in this feast of pride.Vs2 - it would be better to cut your own throat than to go there! Vs8- But if you do eat of his meal(deceptive words), you will puke them up and lose all the sweet deceptive words.Vs9- Don't even speak of the things of God, in the ears of this fool-Mt7;6 Cast not your pearls before swine.
LUST OF THE FLESH; Vs.20 Abstain from hookers and drunks. Vs27 its a trap!!
LUST OF THE EYES; Thine eyes shall behold much deception, tru-out ch23; strange women,dainty meat, wealth, a bunch of traps!
Correction against the "BIG 3" delivers a soul from hell Vs.12-14 Many fleshy idiots use these scriptures to justify child abuse. But PS.23 says " thy rod and thy staff comforts me"! The word of God is the rod that beats deception out of us all.
COMFORT; Vs16 God rejoices, when our LIPS SPEAK RIGHT THINGS! Vs18- For surely there is an end, and thy "EXCPECTATION" shall not be cut off!!What encouragement and comfort. "Jer.29;11 thots of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." agape -- reggie --
