Have met someone, but I need grace in yielding the relationship to Jesus. I want to be a friend to them and show them respect. The timing of this is also a challenge: I've taken work with less pay than before, and last year was difficult emotionally. I need His help to have discernment and self-denial. I want to be her friend. Would you pray for both of us? Thank you.

Pray for. my son and his girls. My son got into drugs in his teens. He continues using drugs for several years, but backed off of them when he was 29. He still drinks beer often and may still be doing drugs???

One of his. daughters, Paige, at 21 was found dead in her bedroom one Sunday morning at the first of this. year. It appears to be a drug overdose.

Paige was not saved.

Please pray for Ally (older sister very much into drugs), Wade (the father of these girls) and for Cara Beth.

Cara Beth has never done drugs of any kind. She is shy. She does not run around with the same crowd with whom her sisters keep as companions.

Cara Beth is going to church with her Grandfather. (her first time to go to church and SHE asked her granddaddy if she could go with him.). Pleas pray extra hard that Cara Beth through the influence that God gives to her grandfather will get to know Jesus.

There's a girl that I've met that I like, but I'm not where I need to be financially right now. I had something happen in April and it changed my financial circumstances quite a bit. There's other areas also, but I'm too ashamed to mention them. I want to respect her and do what's right, not necessarily what I would prefer to seek. I need strengthening in this and help to be a friend towards her, and to be more candid. I do really like her, and this does really challenge me, but we've just kind of started talking and I want her to know where I'm coming from. Would you pray I'm granted courage and discernment with being upfront with her and accepting that she may not want more than friendship? Would you pray I'm sensitive and obedient to Jesus' leading and He would help me grow as a person? Thank you.

I'm in a constant battle with "hidden" sin. It's like being tortured. I do the things I don't want to do and don't do the things I should/want to do. There are times when I think death would be better than sinning against my God. I know I break His heart when I sin and I don't want to do that. There is so much shame. I pray for a miracle to be healed from lust and selfishness. It's a vicious cycle - I'm wrong, sinful, but I can clearly see I haven't truly repented. I don't want to lose my family to something so meaningless (in this life or the next).

God help me with His strength, His perspective, His grace, and His mercy, and most of all, His forgiveness.

I am a Christian saved 4/24/2005 at Calvary Baptist Church in American Canyon California, this present time I am going throuh a huge trial , I have been renting a room here in Concord Ca since 2012 , the landlord just passed away , the home is on a reverse mortgage, the house has to be sold within in 30 days according to the family , I thank God for this trial , I am a 63 year old Disabled Navy Veteran, don't know where where I am going to move , I have always been faithful to my landlord , just asking to find a room to rent with a Christian family close to an independent fundamental baptist church and nearby a Veterans Hospital, I am in good health except for nerve issue in right foot , I put this trial in God's hands and let Him lead me
