I am so happy that God as led me to these hidden books at this season in my life. Everything is in Gods perfect timing. May God bless you all and keep you in his care.
15 "Let thy talk be with the wise, and all thy communication in the law of the most High."
Friend, though I agree that this book and chapter speak to our lives today as it then. And I believe that it is the inspired Word of God.
I do not percieve or understand in any sense it speaks of disease rather than morality. Espcially, it doesn't name a disease or say that we will be diseased by doing those things warned about.
I have a feeling the same things were said about syphilis in its advent.
My concern is when we can attribute things through our own revelation to scripture, because of what we read, that may not mean that as literally stated in the scripture.
In this instance, though I believe you are genuine, the chapter does not even allude to what you state.
I hope your view isn't that of a wrathful God who punishes and destroys as in the Old Testament. That same God sent Jesus in grace mercy and love to enable Him to be with us.
it reaaly reveals the truth about human nature and many have fallen way side by these woman, this disease HIV/AIDS is all about us man hunting or chasing after these beautiful woman i wish this book has been part ofthe current bible for it has the truth about human life and the real issues that are affecting us these days.
Even though this book is not in the current King James Version, it doesn't mean that it wasn't there in the beginning. The 1611 King James Bible Version has this book along with the other Apocrypha books which were taken out after the fact. So who is to say that these were added? Just because you are not familiar with them doesn't mean they were added. Best thing to do is to read and weigh the context and if it agrees with your "known version". Meaning the same teachings are being taught then each individual has to make up their own mind on the credibility. I believe that GOD wants you to study to show yourselves approved. We are also not to judge, but we can discern what we read or not read that is why GOD gave us a brain. May God Bless you in your studies. I am thankful that these are posted so they can be read. I myself have a copy of the 1611 King James Bible Version and these books are there. Have a good day...
As a follower of Jesus Christ, My Heavenly Father God, there is no book name Ecclesiasticus in the Holy Bible (King James Version). This was originated by the Roman Catholics. Also called Book of Sirach. In Deuteronomy 4:2, Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
I have checked this scripture in almost every translation, including King James Version. After hearing about it, sad to say that I did find such a scripture it is however in a apocryptic book called Sirag.
I never saw or heard of this Book Ecclesiastes, I have Ecclesiastes......not in my King James Version...Was it written by one of the Apostles? Not the same context in New World Translation or my King James....Who did write it and when?
"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten."
