What is the verse that comes from this? St. Paul (pardon, it might be Pete, I don't know) read what verse of Jesus preaching and came to the same conclusion? Thank you ahead of time.
Answering some questions (just a passerby looking for something) and thought I'd offer some unsolicited thoughts.
Q: "I never understand Why people want to know what Not Canonized scripture means?
WHY is not the King James Bible good enough for you?"
A:The Apocrypha was in the King James Bible up until the 19th century and in speaking of Ecclesiasticus, it was regarded as practical wisdom in the least and holy writ at most depending on which church "father" you regard. James, as in the brother of our Messiah, for instance, appears to reference the book several times in his epistle.

Who is Esau? Two passages and one non-Biblical source to get your journey started...
1) Ezekiel 35
2) Obadiah
3) The Jewish Encyclopedia, 1925 edition, Volume 5, page 41...
And you will have your answer...there is a reason why Yahushua (Jesus) said these things:
Matthew 12:34
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
And John the Baptist said it as well - arriving to TWO WITNESSES.
And this:
John 7:19
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
-------------------
And ultimately, Jesus uses the same exact language to accuse the Pharisees as He does to mystery Babylon (which is the rulers of our generation - exciting times!):
Matthew 23:35
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Revelation 16:6
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
Revelation 18:24
24 And in her was found the BLOOD OF PROPHETS, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth...
And oh so much more if one had a mind to just look!
Hello Aura. The canonized Book Ecclesiastes never became Ecclesiasticus. Ecclesiastes was penned by King Solomon, son of David, of Jerusalem ( Ecclesiastes 1:1) around 935 BC. The other book you referred to, Ecclesiasticus, is what we call an Old Testament Apocryphal Book, which along with several others, were considered unsuitable to be included in the Canon of Scripture we have now, nor accepted by the Jews. Various tests were applied to those apocryphal books & they failed. Ecclesiasticus was written by a Jewish scribe, Ben Sirach of Jerusalem around 200-175 BC. Do you have a problem with a verse in the KJV & the apocryphal book? None of the KJV verses pertain to the apocryphal books. However, the 1611 version of the KJV had the apocryphal books included.
WHEN did Ecclesiastes become Ecclesiasticus? When I compare what I'm reading from my bible which is the king James, and reading what's on this sight. It says Nothing not even a word compared to Ecclesiasticus. What Bible are you getting this from?
Ecclesiasticus 12 verse 7 says," do good to the godly man and help not a sinner" or like it says later on in the chapter you could put a double curse on yourself. Christ gets the final word that goes along with loving your enemy because he said a man's foes should be of his own house. 1 John 3:4 tell you sin is transgression of the law. Matthew 5 :17 says he didn't come to destroy the laws of Moses; for if you would have believe Moses he wrote of me is what Christ spoke. The only law that was done away with were the law of sacrifice that dealt with sin and death. We have grace which is a time to change. So only the ones that can sin are the ones under the law: Moral, civil, dietary, ceremonial. Even though Christ let that Syrophenician woman eat the crumbs from the master's table he still only came to do Matthew 1:21. Helping the godly means giving tithes cheerfully and offering with freewill that only the priest can collect of their brethren so the nation's storehouse may be full. At one time only the Levites could collect the tithes and offerings but the order of Melchizedek made it possible for all 12 tribes to take part in the priesthood. So help the godly man and not a sinner.
Please forgive me. I know the Apocrypha Link is on this website but I prefer to only study the King James. The Apocrypha does not have a Commentary on here. I would've had to Google and read a lot of material.
There was a lot going on that day, which is no excuse for my comment. I appreciate your reply.
I am a believer and have been for a long time. All you had to say that you don't know. Don't be rude about it God is love so please show what you know about love of Jesus Christ Thank you for your time
"All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not."
Drinking Too much alcohol can result in disasters, death, car crashes, unplanned pregnancy, and making others stumble in their walk with Jesus because they see a church leader under the influence.
It's not just alcohol either; smoking, swearing, drugs? I think of those with tender consciences that may wander away from the Lord, disillusioned.
I get as much enjoyment wit a glass of iced tea with friends, out on the porch.
I don't think wine with dinner is sinful. Just don't overdo it.
I never understand Why people want to know what Not Canonized scripture means?

I'm not going to search the world over, for your answers. If the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ (the WORD of GOD) aren't good enough for you to believe in
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
This Paul quotes from Deuteronomy 32:35.
Hope this helps!
Blessings!
