    Then said he(Lord Jesus) unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.Unlike the bow, the sword is up close and personal, an arms length away, imminent combat.Jesus speaks of a future time, when he would have us armed, rather than clothed.Resisting evil can get physical,as with money changers.
