    Edna,Eph.2:8-10"Saved by grace through faith" a gift from God. But once the gift is given one must do His commandments,good works.James2:17"Even so faith if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Please read the whole book of James. Dead faith will not get anyone into His Kingdom. Nothing negates the scripture in James.
