The book of James is addressed to the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel with a message that has some distinctly Tribulational componentsSince Israel as a nation is broken off Ro 11:17 during the Church Age, which of the twelve tribes an individual belongs today is of little consequence. It certainly mattered in the past and it certainly will again be important in the future Re 7:4 , but it is of no consequence today since national distinctions are eliminated in the Body of Christ. The Apostle Paul writes that there is no difference today between the Jew and non-Jew whosoever calls upon Christ shall be saved. In fact, the Apostle Paul points out that "in Christ Jesus " there is no longer any distinction between Jew and Greek, bond and free, male and female. We are all one in Christ Jesus. See Romans 10:12, Gal 3:28.
