Notice that Daniel is called Belteshazzar. This is not his real name, not how he should be recognized. He is called according to the terms of a false God. He is not viewed in truth but falsely as they think he is, not as he really is. He is only viewed as a man that works magic, that is intelligent and foretells the future. He refuses to recognize Daniels belief in ONE God by saying he has the spirit of the holy gods. Verse 32 talks about how the 7 year tribulation will come with WW3. Nebuchadnezzar will be hated, driven from men. His dwelling will be with the beasts of the field is symbolic meaning he will be invaded by men, beasts, armed with weapons of war.
