this most beloved scripture occurred to me as I lay sleepless in bed early morning 7 26 14. I am thoroughly convinced of it 's efficacy in the truly longing heart. Interestingly enough just before that I had gone over the opening paragraph of a well known to me essay that touches upon the spirit and necessity of "the broken and contrite spirit " which is core to the "beauty of holiness ". which sorrow and sadness was epitomized through the sacrificial suffering and death of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Here it is. "MOSAIC " It occurred to me that it is generally composed of shards and bits of various materials. Taken separately they are quite meaningless and un noteworthy yet in the hands of the artist they are collectively transformed to such a gorgeous degree that hardly are we even aware of there actual unattractiveness apart from each other. Perhaps, by virtue of the artists ' vision they each become imbued by the over arching light of his design melding them almost unperceptively into the whole of a "NEW CREATION ".
