    I believe that Adam and Eve had the holy spirit living in them when they where in the garden, but when they sin God took away the holy spirit and left then with a weak spirit and soul.in romans 8:16 when we turn back to God he sends his holy spirit back to live in us and to show us how to live a Christian life as a true believer and live our life according to his will. God bless.
