    Mystery of God- wars

"The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."This is within the Father Son relationship where all his enemies are His enemies as well. So when God sends forth his word it is to prosper His Son who in fulness of time shall be sent to the world. It shall never return to him in void. The decree establishes the day ending with day of his wrath. "The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath./He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries."(Ps.110.5-6) For this reason St Paul refers to full armour of God for our safety but the actual weapons of mass destruction, is the word."And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations." 'Uttermost parts of the earth,-heathens from one end to the other are arrayed against the Lord.(Ps.2.8) "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming."(2 The.2.8)

In the case of Israel, God gives them a separate covenant,"He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised" (Gen.17.13). But Son of whose house we are, lays blessedness on the basis of trust. Faith is the DNA, and only heirs of promise are called from there and . being Abraham's seed is not the basis. Everlasting covenant is not the covenant circumcision. Abraham believed and was counted to him for righteousness,. On the other hand God commanded Israel,"And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them;"(Deut.7.2) In their disobedience they lost the right to the land.'Until you perish from this good land." (Josh.23:12-13) The battle is of the Lord.

Iron sharpens iron. (Pro.27.17) What Israel at present does is merely that. There is no place for word in their hearts.
