Ok , so I'm going to say something extremely controversial now , so it may not get put up on the site .

The reason the book of John doesn't contain the word faith is because he uses a different word which actually means believe , as opposed to faith . Same thing you may say .

By that logic , if you believe in witches , does that not also mean that you have faith in them ? Do you believe ( have faith ) in their powers ?

I don't believe in or have faith in any other power that that of the God of all Creation , the Holy One of Israel and , His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ . They are all I believe in , all I have faith in , they are true and all powerful and all knowing and able to do absolutely anything with any part of this entire universe . It all comes from , belongs to and is sustained by the Lord our God .

I don't think i can put it any plainer without sounding aggressive so I shall stop now and I don't wish to discuss this topic any further as I feel I would be going around in circles . May God bless us all .
