    Q&A "Altar of incense" (2 of 2)

Abel is not forgotten and this verse indicates its certainty. "And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake."(8:5) The voices, and thunderings, and lightenings assure us that His judgment is just. The Gospel has spoken. The blessed shall go to the kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world. By the same reckoning the wicked shall be sent to the everlasting fire.

Jesus asks, "how can ye escape the damnation of hell?/ Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:/That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar./Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. "(Matt.23:34-36)

The seven angels with seven trumpets are about to pronounce judgment which shall go on as prophesied by the Son of man.
