    PART 2

We do have the Holy Spirit with us when we get saved but having the Holy Ghost IN us gives us greater strength, knowledge, discernment, understanding and much more power to stay righteous as a child of God. We are fighting the DEVIL; we must desire all the power we can have against him.

Disregarding this blessing is disregarding a gift from God and why would you do that? Because grandma or mom or dad or your pastor TELLS you it isn't of God? Did you study, after serious prayer and maybe even fasting, to learn for yourselves about this doctrine? Why wouldn't any child of God want to be blessed this way? Perhaps fear that it is of the devil, would God give a gift to His church that is from the devil? Or it seems too evil and crazy because that is the way people on social media act and God's people don't act that way. This is wrong thinking, the poor souls on social media that behave badly are being deceived by the devil. You need to study to know the truth. Find out for yourself, study and don't listen to anyone but God - including me. Forget or at least compare sermons you've heard denouncing this doctrine with what the bible teaches with an open mind toward God.

Christians use 1 Corinthians 13:8: to claim that tongues HAVE ceased but the expression "whether there be" makes the question hypothetical or could be or could be not, so what verse 8 in this passage is saying is that whether tongues cease or not the love of God never will, or even if knowledge shall vanish away or not the love of God won't and as for the "putting away childish things" The CHURCH OF GOD was filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues, that was not a childish experience.

    Hi Momsage.

May I ask, Where in scripture does it say speaking in tongues is the (EVIDENCE) of the Holyspirit being in us?

Also, If the Holyspirit is with us it's because he's IN us!

If you don't have the Holyspirit IN you you haven't been born again!

Do one have to speak in tongues to be saved? NO!

There's instances of some believers using the gift of tongues, but that does not teach that speaking in tongues is EVIDENCE of salvation.

None of the gospel presentations in the New Testament mention tongues.

    John 3:16-18

    Ephesians 2:1-10.

    Acts 4:12.

    Acts 16:31;

    Romans 10:9-13.

    1 Corinthians 15:3-8. Ephesians 2:1-10. ect

If speaking in tongues was necessary for salvation, or even the primary signifier of salvation, we would expect to read much more about tongues.

    We have been given Christ!

We have Christ spirit in us!

There's gifts of the Spirit and that is performed by one gift. CHRIST!.

There's also fruit of the Spirit.

That's what needs to be present in a believer. Fruit!

If it's evidence what one is looking for it should be fruit! That means you are connected to the Genuine vine as mentioned in John 15

God requirements for righteousness is perfect and the only way a believer achieves that is Christ righteousness imputed over unto us.

You are given a covering, (Robe of righteousness) to cover the imperfection within you!

You're not perfect and don't meet God's requirements without this covering witch is an atonement for your sins.

Just to think you are perfect in the flesh shows an sinful nature.

    1 John 1:8-9.

    Blessings.

    God bless.

S Spencer: There are 2 more parts to my posting. Perhaps you should read them all before you comment and, may I suggest you read them with more care this time. If you want to believe that having the Holy Ghost with you and in you are the same thing that's up to you but don't call me a sinner because I don't agree with you. That is rude, to say the least. Just for others who may read your comment about what I posted I in no way said if you weren't filled with the Holy Ghost you weren't saved. Spencer has twisted my words. You have to be saved before you can ask God for His precious Holy Spirit to come into your soul; saved and sanctified wholly. It's all there in my 3 postings. Read 1 Corthians 14.This whole chapter deals with the correct way speaking in tongues is to be used by the church. God Bless

    Thank you Momsage.

Hopefully this storm didn't affect you guys much.

If my memory serves me right, you live near Nashville right?

    God bless you.

Actually we are southwest of Nashville, about 160 miles. We had a lot of rain, which was good, but no bad weather. Thanks for asking. God Bless :)

    You're welcome Momsage.

I left Nashville yesterday and went to Clarksville, now I'm on my way to Cordova and then Memphis.

    Momsage,

Glad to hear that you are o.k. after the hurricane. I hope all is going well with you. I keep you in my prayers as I do others from this site.

    Hi GiGi:

Thank you, GiGi for your prayers, I do pray for people here too. I don't do much discussion postings anymore. I just like to post teachings. I am in a discussion with Spencer right now, though.

Josh and I weren't affected by the hurricane except for 2 days of good rain which was really needed for Joshua's garden. I guess this part of Tennessee wasn't affected, Praise the Lord. We are in the south west part of the state about 60 miles west off Jackson. This area is having trouble with flooding in some parts but Savannah is to high up to really be affected.

    Take care. God Bless :)

    Hello again Momsage,

It is good to hear from you. I have not posted much in weeks. I am currently doing some private study preparing to post some of what I discover when it is the right timing.

We are very busy now with caring for our grandchild Tues-Thurs while mom and dad are at work.

And we are just now moving things back into our kitchen now that the cabinets and appliance are in. Hopefully things will slow down in a month or so when the contracted work gets completed. Everything looks so great. We feel very blessed to finally get to do this remodel after being here 30 years (and the home was in need of remodel when we first moved in). So, God made a way for us to do this remodel and we are thankful. Should pretty much do us fine until we are called home by our Lord.

    Hello S. Spencer,

I will be praying for you and your area that will be impacted by this hurricane. May God be merciful to the people living in these states. May He provide help to those who are in danger and protection to those who are His.

    Thanks Gigi.

Everything here turned out great. God bless.

    Dear S. spencer,

I have been thinking of you today and I am glad to hear that you are o.k., safe, and doing great. How are your family members faring?

this as a ginormous hurricane. I heard 600 miles in diameter! So vast tracts of land are affected in many states. I pray that relief efforts will save and rescue many, help those who are displaced with safe accommodations, and that many people will contribute monetarily to the relief effort.

    Hi Gigi.

We're doing well. There's no damage on any of siblings family property.

    (As of yet)

Sometimes you have to wait a few days or perhaps when it rains again to see a roof leak or something.

    Thanks for asking!

How are you and the family?

    Hello S. Spencer,

wea re ding well here in Washinton state. Fall has arrived with its beauty that differs from the beauty of summer or winter or spring.

Our kitchen counters are finally going in on Monday and then our appliances. We will be happy to break down the outdoor kitchen and begin to use our new kitchen. It is getting dark earlier and earlier and getting colder int he evenings and mornings. So--just in time! Our front door should be ready to be delivered this week and installed soon.

So, this has been a much longer project than we first thought it would be when we had the leak in the wall the week after Christmas. But everything is looking so good==much more functional and updated and more hypo-allergenic without the carpeting. That will help my airways do better this winter with much less dust in the air.

Little Rosie is four months old today. She has begun to belly laugh which is hilarious and we are practicing rolling over in our play time. It won't be long before she can do it on her own.

I feel very blessed these days. I am thankful for what God has supplied to us and for the love in our family.

That is Great to hear Gigi.

    Hi Momsage.

    Sorry.

Where I said "you" It should have been "we" I meant in general.

However I was basing it off of your comment on the ability to no longer sin.

Momsage sin is there before the act is performed.

The nature exists because the flesh is still present.

We may resist the flesh but the nature is still present, and that is a sinful nature that we combat.

When we are made perfect that battle will cease.

Perhaps this is how I should have worded my previous response.

WE are given a covering, (Robe of righteousness) to cover the imperfection within US!

WE'RE not perfect and don't meet God's requirements without this covering witch is an atonement for our sins.

Just to think one is perfect in the flesh shows an sinful nature because it works against the work of the Holyspirit that convicts us.

    1 John 1:8-9.

    Blessings.

    God bless.
