"And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:"
When Moses came down the mount he was not aware that his face shone. His natural face glowed and it is how we respond to the glory of the Law. Plainly speaking God gave glory to His creation since it is what God does. And he does it only according to his Holiness. So glory of the Law takes naturally to a body when it responds as it should. The nation of Israel could not bear looking at it meant they had a problem.
Adam formed of the dust of the ground and glory was such he was not ashamed. So was Moses."But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body."(1 Co.15:38) This seed is the word with which Moses radiated glory which however and the Israelite responded just Adam and Eve hid themselves from the presence of God. As with the fall of man it was a clue that the heart was not right before Him. It is to this lapse that Jesus observed, "And said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up."(Matt.15:13). What St Paul referred in the above mentioned quote was the body is a glorious body but if the seed of the word was not present it could only end up as thistles or thorns only fit for fire. It is tantamount to that God did not plant them.
The Law of Moses was pendent to the Law which Jesus rejected at no point. He was the fulfillment. This we see when he healed the ten lepers, "And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed./ And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God." The Samaritan glorified God while others simply went on with their lives.
How each responds to the glory of the Law is different. (2 Co.3:17-18
