"a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals"
The Spirit gives us a physical book so we shall treat it as such. The Book of remembrance, the right hand, backside are to be understood for what is the intent of the Spirit. He concretises the unseen aspects of the divine Will in a manner the reader shall understand. The book written within and on the backside for example we shall consider here. The worlds framed by the word of God have the unseen word which is divine Will and what was made to appear and it has a beginning as well its fulfilment. (He.11:3) What is written within is followed by what is on the backside or what shall be revealed in the fulness of time. It is in this sense the Spirit sets the Lord God speak as follows, "And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:/And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts."(Ex.33:22-23). The Spirit gives additional clue, and 'the clift in the rock' is with reference to 'the rock from which ye are hewn", the Rock of ages,,- the Son "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person," (He.1:3;Is.51:1-3)
The book is sealed with seven which is another tag to indicate the day decreed for the Son is complete and the seal is the divine emblem, for Authority. "And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon./ And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon./And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." (vv.2-5) Significance is clear In Jesus Christ is the fulness of God. He 'has prevailed upon' and how and why we understand: 'the slain Lamb', the Word become flesh.
