    God is VICTOR

    Pt. 10

Here are verses that speak of Jesus' Triumph over satan and evil and sin

    Col. 2:13-15 Heb. 2:14 Rev. 1:18 2 Cor. 2:14 Jn. 14:30 Jn. 16:11

And when all is said and done, even the condemned will bow to Jesus as God over all and proclaim that He is, indeed, their creator, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

Phil. 2:10 At the name of Jesus every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth will bow their knee and proclaim that Jesus is Lord

When Jesus commissioned the apostles to preach the gospel to the world, He promised to build His church and that the enemies will prevail against it. He has established this promise, sealed with His blood-bought Victory.

Mt. 16:18 The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church that Jesus builds.

When Jesus was laid in the grave upon His death, His body did not corrupt in any way that a corpse would decay-VICTORY!

When Jesus resurrected, bringing life back to Himself by Himself, the Father and the Holy Spirit, He was the VICTOR-triumphing over the grave to die no more. Though the humanity of Jesus was dead for three days, His divinity was not for God cannot cease to exist. What transpired in this time, we really are not given much info. But when we are resurrected we will probably find out what victories Christ Jesus had during those three days in the tomb. We do know that He was not covered with dirt in the ground, but with clothes and laid on a slab in cave. But between sundown and sunrise of the third day, He arose from the dead in the body that died, but now immortal. So, He gained the victory over man's mortality. He was alive forevermore.

He showed Himself risen from the dead for 40 days after He resurrected, appearing to over 500 followers, some even multiple times (apostles).

These verses tell us how we are victorious over the enemy and how we overcome Him IN because we are IN Christ.

    Lk. 10:19 Rom. 16:20 Jn. 5:24

    See Pt. 11
