    Ex.26:1-3 "Curtains-2"

"And every one of the curtains shall have one measure." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever" (He.13:18) In the covering 'of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins' we already covered the predicative aspect of the word of God. Now coming to the curtain as it is hung about the volume it encompasses signifies the two worlds framed by the word of God. (He.11:3). How the outermost is attached to the other are by means of taches of pure gold. " And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle." It signifies faith.

26:9 "And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle." As mentioned earlier this doubling refers to grace and truth which Jesus Chist as the Word made flesh represents. The two worlds framed has enfolded the lower parts as well, so to speak.

On the rear "the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle" represents the lower parts of the earth. Jesus Christ went in his Spirit and preached to the souls in prison so the gospel covers them as well. "Good tidings were proclaimed to the dead. (1 Pe.4:6;Ep.4:9) Lastly we shall consider "the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them."

Here is a quote,"for this was not wrought by a needle, which only shows the figure on one side, but by weaving. Perhaps the vision of Ezekiel could give us an idea, "And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces." (Ez.41:18-26). These curtains however have only one measure; be of equal length and breadth.

v.2 "The length of one curtain 28 cubits, and the breadth four cubits has proportion, 1:7. Seven denotes perfection.
