"And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount."
The breadth as a basic unit Length is thrice, where Three is a command number indicating the Son. This being the case we need look for the single measure without which we cannot say the fullness of God is in the tabernacle. "And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be."(25:20). In short the single measurement we have Christ represented in Ark of the covenant with the cherubim as two witnesses.
"And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel."(Re.21:17).
"The tabernacle was a rectangular enclosure, in length about 45 feet (i.e., reckoning a cubit at 18 inches) and in breadth and height about 15." Most holy place is a cube similar to the holy city of God. "The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.(21:16) The tent covering with several layers (26:7-11) indicated heaven.
The tabernacle facing the east has its own significance. After the fall of man we read "So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."(Ge.3:24). So the tabernacle set the direction that kept the way of the tree of life. The cherubim were not to deter man but as witnesses for the man blessed by the covenant access to the tree of life. This is what we see in Re.22:1. Their flaming swords did not allow man any other other way. "I am the way."
