I dont know why but this week and last,i have been really non functional ,i have not brushed my teeth.Nor read my Bible.nor bathed ,i have been just existing lately.i see a md regularly so i am going to address this with him. I have been very faithful to take my meds my doctor has prescribed.I really am sad that i have regressed so badly. I dont know if my meds have stopped helping now or if i am under undue strain.I pray the Lord will restore my joy back to me like when i first got saved ,i was very happy and had much peace.
From my experience when I feel down then fellowship with other believers is a good thing that can lift you up. If you are on your own and there is a christian community near you, do not hesitate to ask for help. We are not supposed to be on our own but inside a congregation, among people like us, where one helps another. May God bless you.
Have you talked with your doctor about these symptoms. It seems like they may indicate depression, so perhaps the doctor can help with treatments for that if it is so.
Thank you Gigi,i really appreciate and am grateful for your prayers!i am going to tell my pyschiatrist i have been feeling bad.I did brush my teeth tonite ,and studied my Bible some,so i thank you for your prayer,it has helped some already.
Sounds like seeing your psychiatrist and being honest about how you are dealing with this episode is a good plan. I am glad that you made the effort to caring for your teeth and reading the Bible. Two good starts. So hopefully you will do the same tonight helping to make these nightly habits. Little steps can take you a long ways.
Bibleman 72 I understand your present situation. We must stay close to Christ if we wish to maintain that peace you speak of. If we neglect the reading of the word of God and prayer we are laying down our weapons. While other soldiers fight on we start retreating from the battle. It is so easy to drift from there. You will drift farther than you meant to go. I know this from personal experience. I became miserable.Don't give satan one more minute of your life. Repent; ask God to forgive you and restore you peace in Him
Yes ,i have done what you have said Melody Hall.i admit that i have not been reading it ,i did read my Bible tonite ,and brush my teeth.I have to have a plumber come tomorrow for a badly stopped toilet.please pray he wont make to much of a mess ,i dont feel good and i will be so miserable if i have to do a lot of clean up after the plumber. Please pray he wont charge me to much Melody ,i am not well to do.Thank you very much for your reply.
You must pray about this . It seems as if the things of this world might be getting you down . I feel like this a lot , when I look at this world and what's going on day after day , death and injustice , it's the prince of this world ramping up his attacks on us , trying to drag us down and make us doubt our God ,doubt His love , doubt His mercy , doubt His power and His promises .
Pray , every day give thanks and ASK , God wants us to ask Him for help . When we do this we are acknowledging Him , His love , power and mercy .
I thank Him daily for : sustaining and supporting me , physically , mentally , emotionally and spiritually , and I ask Him to please continue to do so . I confess that I can do nothing without Him and I thank Him for everything that He does for me every day . Do this regularly , from the heart . He is waiting for you to talk to Him .
