Bible Discussion Thread

Praying for a positive answer from the God of heaven and earth to send me a Godly mate. And to make it clear who this man is. I pray he will answer me very soon. In Jesus mighty name amen.

My now wife cried herself to sleep praying for a husband. She asked, "who would have me?" (She had two teenage boys.) That night she had a dream that she was walking down a road alone. As she walked, a man came up and began walking with her. After a short while, the man placed his hand in hers and they continued walking to the end of the road. Once there, the man turned to her and gave her a hug. She told me that she could still feel the hug as she woke up. I'm not sure how long it was before she met me, but when she did, she said I was the man in the dream. God confirmed that she was the right one for me as I was driving to a job about 30 min from home. (We had already met but since she lived in another town, we didn't get to spend much time together.) This particular morning, I was praying about whether she was the one God wanted for me. I was really seeking God on this matter and by this time the tears were flowing. (I had a paper towel that I had folded twice, now it was square.) I had already wiped my tears away twice, but this time as I prayed, "God I don't know who she's supposed to be with, but I've got to know if she's the one for me" I wiped my eyes.This time I was surprised as it felt like something crawled across my face. When I looked at the paper towel there was a strand of her hair poking out. I unfolded the towel and it was as if I had laid it across the towel before folding it up. It was then God spoke in my spirit, "she's the one." I told her the story and that's when I learned she had dreamt about me. We just celebrated ten years together. There's more but for lack of time and space, I'll end it here. Lisa, I don't know you, but I know our God, and He is Just and faithful. If you will keep God at the center of your life, and then at the center of your marriage, He will make a way. He certainly did for my wife and I. Trust God and His timing. I'll be praying, God Bless
