"To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;"
God asks Job, Has the rain a father?(v.28a). The Spirit gives us the answer. "The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods."(Ps.24:1-2). His throne upon the floods means that it is not that you seek it in the lower parts of the heaven but towards the throne of God. The Spirit calls it bottles of heaven. " Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven, God created the earth by His word so fulness thereof consists of clouds the sun, the moon and including even the clay. In v.38 we read,"When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together" is it useless? "When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,/And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing." ( John 9:6-7)
"To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
God sent his word and healed applies to everything on man and grass. "My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass." (De.32:2)
"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old./Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert./The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen."(Is.43:18-20)
"Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?"
