Prophet Elisha had double portion of Elijah's Spirit which tells Elijah was after the likeness of his Son and as a prophet 'after our image'. So according to the provisions of the covenant the Spirit of Christ equipped him to serve. This double portion serves to explain the cloud of witnesses, which are angels made spirit by the breath of God. "By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent."( Job 26:13). This has a bearing on the role of the red dragon in the vision of St John. (Re.12:4 a).
