Mark 10:28-31 "Now in this time"

The twelve apostles were far from perfection and they had forsaken all was not enough. Significant is that the answer Jesus gave Peter was for all, so we need take it as applied to the discipleship. It is 'for my sake and the gospel's',"But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life." (vv.28-29). Jesus promised them,"Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."(Matt.18:.18) Notice that it is addressed to the twelve,"whatsoever ye shall bind on earth." Judas shortchanged his share 'now in this time' and in the world to come for 30 pieces of silver. It is for this reason the caveat given in v.31. " But many that are first shall be last; and the last first." St Matthew also gives it but judging the twelve tribes of Israel is given to the twelve. "And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."(Mattt.19:28) So the element of 'Now' is by the Law of Gradation is the authority of Jesus Christ and he foretells the guilt of the nation.

"Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?/ Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:/That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar./Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation." (Matt.23:33-36)
