    Poem i wrote

    in sixteen hundred and eleven

a book of divine words from heaven

translated to english by order of a king

a king named james of england

gods will came to be, the word preached

first to the jew and than to the greek

now even to those in moose factory

so seek the lord, any who want life

a life that will be eternal as kings and priests

under the king of kings and lord of lords

our lord and saviour jesus christ.

Great, brother here is what stirred me up:

King James, by your royal command

    Set scholars of the realm

with divine inspiration pore over divine writ

And compile a tome that stood the test of time.

    But is a version nonetheless.

And it grieves me that with diversions

    peculiar I loath to say

You seem to have missed the divine wit

and perspiration of thy scholarly servants.

"The King James Bible is one of the great literary treasures our world has ever seen, especially when you consider who wrote the King James Bible, why it was written and when it was written. While it is a literary masterpiece, more importantly it is the Word of God. This is why it has endured. Not because of the commission of King James but because of the commission of God himself. Regardless of how people feel about God's word, you can be confident in knowing that God's word will endure forever.

"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever" ( Isaiah 40:8 KJV)"
