Current events should be studied in light of Psalm 83 which although was reflected in the war of 1948 in particular and other past conflicts it is perhaps most applicable to today; when each of the factions in the surrounding nations in a sort of coalition or cooperative effort are going to be; it seems conquered in shot order by Israel. This would include territory and terrorists in Syria; Lebanon; the Golan Heights; Gaza and all other factions. This is necessary for the Ezekiel 38 war to take place where Israel feels secure with unwalled villages which clearly is NOT and has not been the situation up until now in its history. Notice for now the surrounding nations are using proxies and integrated militants within their borders rather than massing tanks or troops for a national invasion which will take place with Iran; Russia; Turkey and the confederacy coming for spoil in the Ezekiel 38 conflict.

It sadly will take until the end of the Tribulation when Jerusalem has half of the city taken along with rapes like has happened now and in most wars in the past. The third that is refined in the fire will endure to the end; two thirds of Israel will perish before they finally realize who Christ is and the nation will weep by themselves in their own families. Then God will fight for Israel and the people themselves will have the final conquest along with the returning saints who rule and reign with Christ with a rod of iron upon His return in Revelation 19.

No doubt there are trying times ahead; and we won't even see the Tribulation begin without a false peace narrative even stronger than present once Antichrist is revealed; but likely some time after this conflict and other conflagrations for life to seem to go back to some sense of normal for Christ to return when we don't expect like the time of Noah when people were buying; selling; marrying; etc. Don't be surprised if it is still at least a few years until the Rapture therefore; many will fall away.

Hello Richard, I hope you are doing well today.

What is occurring in Israel, Gaza, and Lebanon is of great concern. It has the very real potential to becoming a war that involves so many other countries. Israel is defending itself from attack by those who live along their borders who have repeatedly month upon month sent bombs and missiles into Israel.

I heard today that tomorrow has been called to be an international day of Jihad. So, I think it is wise for people all over the world to prepare themselves for what may happen close to them and even to themselves. How important is it to encourage others to be right with God through Christ for tomorrow one may be killed. Also, it is important to be sure to have needed things to survive attacks in our own communities, but also around our country and world that will impact daily living. Perhaps today is a day to stock up on batteries, water, and propane fuel and canned food or other emergency food supplies, medicine, etc.

I hope that there will not be attacks tomorrow, but I do not think that those who have called for this Jihad are kidding or posturing.

We should be praying for God's intervention and help for all who are in danger. And also, we may be without technology for a time, so we will not be checking in here until technology services can be re-constructed. So, for everyone here, I say, God bless you today, tomorrow and always.

Heavenly Father, we come to You today in the name of Jesus and prepare our hearts for what may happen tomorrow. We ask that You intervene and cause the evil plans of those who wish to do acts of Jihad to fail. We ask that You protect those who are Yours and those we love who do not know You yet. may they be brought to faith in this time of threat and crisis. Guide Israel in this war so that Your justice will prevail. Keep us strong and courageous and confident in what You have given us in Christ Jesus. amen.

Well; whenever you do get to see my letter here; I just am expressing my thanks again for your friendship; and your deep insights and wisdom. Given the circumstances I have to think carefully about the topics which are expressed here; I certainly see a need for prophetic scriptures; especially in light of my posting the other day on Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38.

I have gotten some negative commentary here on the concept of false peace; but as always I am quoting scripture. Peace is to be taken from the earth in the 2nd seal; that could be from the false peace of the first seal; but also it would seem when these conflagrations end there has to be a time for unwalled villages in Israel; and economic worldwide development for things to get to the point of the Daniel 9:27 covenant. With everyione on high alert with the current situation it is likely different than the rapture time frame when it comes at a time we do not expect; with buying; selling; marriage; etc. The Ezekiel 38 war is for a spoil; which certainly could imply the rich oil; gas and other resources there now which the current war has no plans to conquer; and again in that war the nations themselves and their armies fight; rather than proxy wars such as we see at present. The Antichrist has a systematic 10 nation or world region rulership; therefore sovereign power is involved with worldwide conquest.

It is possible the second seal is more like we are seeing now but on a worldwide scale; such as what may be planned at present but since we are still in the church age it no doubt will be muted somewhat. By the trumpet judgments of course we see the armies being mustered; the Euphrates dried up (which has happened somewhat but not finalized until the specific demons are relaased). It ends in Armageddon but just before that the Jews finally recognize their Messiah as Zechariah indicates.

Yes being right with God and trusting Him to give Him glory in our death is a priority. Will keep you in prayer.

    Sleep well, Richard.

Tomorrow is another day given to us by our loving Father. We can rest in Him always.

No Gigi , we must not stock up on anything . We must not think that we can do anything to save ourselves either physically or spiritually . This is part of the problem with the nation of Israel as it stands today , it thinks that because it has powerful human friends in America and Europe , because it has American nuclear missiles on its land , that it will be ok . Israel is not relying on its Creator , it thinks it can survive without God . We must trust in Him , not in our stockpiles of supplies and , even if we do die , what is that to us ? I've told all my non Christian friends and family that maybe , many Christians will suddenly completely disappear or maybe we will all suddenly die , but no one must weep for me , I've gone to meet my Saviour ! I couldn't be happier or in a better place ! I'm excited not afraid ! Be careful for nothing the Lord is at hand ! What are our earthly physical lives ? Just imperfect foreshadows of who we will be in the future . Please , show faith in your God , rejoice and don't stockpile anything ! God has a wonderful plan and we are part of it , have faith in Him , He can save us from anything and if we must die then we must die , don't be afraid , be happy ! The most awesome days are coming , we must be brave and strong and faithful ! Think of Daniels three friends in the furnace , Daniel in the lion's den ,Paul bitten by a poisonous snake , Jonah in the whales mouth , the Israelites in their homes as the angel of death walked the land of Egypt , have faith in God ! The world lives in fear but we are not of this world so we must not live in fear of anything , especially not physical death ! That is nothing to us ! This is a trial of our faith and we must not fail it !

    Hi Jema,

I understand where you are coming from. But for me, I think it is wise to make some preparations to go some time without necessities because we can be here and available to those who are seeing people all around them in harm's way and may need our counsel concerning salvation in Christ. I have lived my life and, at 66, I don't hold on to life as one would who is younger. But my sons are not saved and I want to be here to minister to them through tough situations helping them to see their need for a Savior in Christ.

I do not suggest stockpiling to "ride this thing out" but to be able to survive as God wills to help others. I see nothing in this approach that is ungodly or not of faith. Everyone will do as they feel led to do. I don't want "out of this world" to avoid hardship, but to be "in it"-not "of it", as Jesus prayed for His disciples at the last Supper, to be a witness for Him and helpful to those who need Him.

Gigi , God will preserve those that He wants preserving , have you not read that those who seek to preserve their lives shall lose it ? Faith in God is not just about this life . I have atheists that I love , do you not think I worry and care for them ? I pray for God's mercy to be upon them every day , if it is His will , this is better than to stock pile food etc . God saves , He does it . We must trust Him totally and not be as Lots wife . Faith in Him , in His love , His mercy and in His power . You might wish to stay here but I can't wait to go and be with Him , remember Martha and Mary ? One of them running around cooking and serving food and the other sat at Jesus's feet ? To think that you can help others and would rather do that than to do as you are told ? Think again please . The body is nothing , all flesh is grass . Thy Kingdom Come .

    Hello GiGi

There is nothing like that (an international jihad day) on the news here, and we are very close to Israel. Definitely a new age in the Middle East (and consequently in the whole world) begins with the slaughter of the Israeli civilians. It is really sad how satan has put so much hate inside people's heart. The Jews and the Arabs are really brother nations speaking similar languages (Elohim vs Allah). The events of the last times are unfolding in front of our eyes. There has been a message from God, the same during the last 2-3 years, "Dark clouds are coming to earth, but my people do not fear, I am protecting you, you will see the plagues of Egypt occuring to people but nothing will touch you." Lets be awake and in prayers. Lets keep the light on in our lamps and be ready to receive the coming Lord. Blessings to all.

Giannis, I heard it today on a news channel I listen to in the U.S. So, it is best to be "in the know" and prepare and prayerfully it does not come to pass. I live within 10 miles of a joint army/air force base. So, this could be a targeted place. Also, the state capital. But any place could be targeted, especially if they wish to take out many civilians-schools, synagogues, hospitals.

It is rare for me to send out such an alarming report, but what is happening in Israel is REALLY BIG and those who want to eliminate Israel and the Jews also hate the U.S. and those who ally with us. It is hard to know what may transpire, but God knows. If this is truly a plan of the terrorists, then I am thankful that God allowed for a "heads up" for us.

Will be heading out to the store in a few minutes so, Giannis, I wish you safety and blessings in the next 24 hours.

Hello Richard, not to "argue", but the false "peace narrative" you spoke of concerning the tribulation is not biblical. There is no anti-christ peace treaty made with Israel. This teaching, as popular as it is, appears nowhere in scripture, and by the way, neither does a "seven year" tribulation. Tribulation yes, but nowhere is it seven years.

    -- REV 4:1 - 1260 days + forty and two months - REV 19:11-21--

REV 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (DON'T HAVE TO CALL IT RAPTURE, BUT THAT DAY WILL COME LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT/TRIBULATION STARTS)

REV 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; ('Raptured, caught up, whichever you call it, Saints singing in Heaven before the 1st seal)

REV 11:3 ( two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days) 1260 DAYS

REV 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them." (when? In Rev 13:7)

REV 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them." (two witnesses resurrected,'raptured', when the beast makes war and kills them in Rev 13:7)

REV 13:5 Best given forty and two months. 1260 days over and 42 months to go.

REV 13:7 Two Witness killed as told in Rev 11:7

Skip To Rev 19:11-21. 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. 7 years. Does not say it, but it is 7 years from the start of Tribulation to the 2nd coming of Christ.

    2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Rapture just means (A seizing, a Carrying off) Not found in the Bible, describes how it will be to be taken to Heaven. Call it when Those who are ready, are taken.

    Stewart:

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

It is in the prophecies that man goes to heaven, of it that just a doctrine of man.

    God Bless YOU!

Hello Stewart, no seven years, sorry but it is a false teaching. Not being argumentative, care to direct this idea to a scripture? Also, there is NO anti-christ peace treaty with Israel, care to direct this idea to a scripture? I'll wait. Too many people claiming to teach on the "prophetic", very, very few even understand the most basic fundamental aspects of what the Word of God teaches concerning the prophetic. Too many have listened to the pure idiocy of the movies, books, and the sermons of left behind manure stinking false doctrines.
