It is true that we go go to God when there is no other way out. God often permits such situations in our life in order to teach us to rely on Him, not on ourselves nor on anybody else. The Jews in the dessert had to rely to God to send them the manna each day. It is a lesson of trusting God in our lives. Maybe we fail the exams in the begining but we learn our lesson along the way.
