Hi , littlemanchild.
I pray gods peace and strength be upon you.
To your question.
God said let us make man in our own image, after our likeness:
Key words your looking at is (us) and ( our )
It is my understanding, that us and our is God the Father and Jesus his only begotten son .
Jesus was with the Father from the foundations of the earth. This is referenced throughout scriptures.
Scriptures tell us No one has seen the Father save the son.
Also Jesus tells us that the Father sent him, and he must return to the Father .
So we can recieve the Holyghost .
Hope this helps.
May God bless and keep you.
Love you all.
"Amen!"
