Why is the book of Ecclesiastes in the King James bible have only 12 chapters and The king James Standard version has 51 chapters please explain this situation thanks .
This is what have found so far: Two Books of the Bible, Ecclesiastes, which is within canonized Scripture, was written by King Solomon, and this is the New American Standard version; and Ecclesiasticus, from the Apocrypha or "hidden books", was written by a man named Jesus Sirach, and this is the King James version.
Beware of Apocrypha books. They contain history but the doctrine of those books are false. Not false because of denominational differences but based on comparing it to the Bible.
