    What does the term in the new testament prophecy mean "marrying and giving in marriage".

    If you're rferring to it written in The book of Matthew it mean: Fornication, sex , honeymooning !

    It appears to me the lack of concern for the times that they were living in. Getting married is a hope of a future together, giving in marriage is family, usually the Parents with hope of future that marriage brings, many times provision for the younger generation, that they would help each other & grandchildren etc. I believe the point is to magnify the people in the world; will & have ignored the WORDS of GOD, the times appointed, times at hand, "business as usual" Matthew 24,
