Asking for prayer today, stuck on loneiness and depression all of my family members are gone and i'm alone and desperate for happiness i feel alone and desperate all the time . my children arent in my life and that hurts so very much please pray for me thank you father and mother god bless

Dear Linda, devote yourself to God, and He will give you peace and joy.

Proverbs 12:25 "Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad." In other words, anxiety about your lonely plight is causing you to be depressed and thus lack joy. I challenge you to devote yourself to the Lord first, and then to others--your neighbors and church members, visit those in the hospital, and even make moves to restore your relationship with your children. Make an effort to be happy, and joy will be yours.

Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
