Genesis 24 is the best romance chapter in the Bible.
I have a friend in another state that has looked for a wife for 15 years, in the same lounge where all his friends go. He's retired now, not having any luck sitting on the sofa watching movies :/
I have this speech: YOURE HUNTING IN THE WRONG FOREST. He's a hunter!? I said don't you go hunting where you have good odds for shooting game that you can eat? Yes. A target rich environment? You're not going to find a quality woman to be a wife, in a bar!
Try a coffee shop with food too. No politics.
Stroll through a park, sit on a bench. Make eye contact.
If the Forest is empty, try something else. Join the YMCA and do the walk/jog path. Ask which brand of gym shoe is best?
Some Libraries have People who read aloud to parents or grandmothers, with grandchildren along. Anybody can sit in. Gotta get comfortable in the Forest. Take a CPR class.
Best place to find a compatible mate is at Church. Be equally yoked (both Christian). Join singles group. They go to dinner and movies often. Exchange numbers. Host a spaghetti dinner. Everyone brings sides. Take a turn at helping in the nursery.
We know the Lords perfect union is a couple. Adam and Eve. People have babies into their 30's. Guys wanna know if your checkbook is balanced, you have savings, you maintain your car, you share the remote control, you're a Christian who worships Jesus w/o compromise. You are FUN to be with. A baby, without relationship is Hollow.
Little kids love me. Why? exchange knock knock jokes, build tall block towers, tell Bible Stories from memory with sounds; Bible Hopscotch: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John
SECRET: The Servant In Genesis 24 represents the Holy Spirit. Pray for Him to Bring You, To Your Husband. Water his camels and look happy and fresh.
I was looking for an inspirational quote but, nothing spoke to my heart. So, I have to encourage you to read God's Word and speak to him about your wants and desires. Tell the Lord, he promised you and you will praise Him until He fills His Word in your life. "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. '" - Jeremiah 29:11

I found searching for my "life wants" never turned out the way I expected and that caused so much heartache & pain I'm still dealing with some of those choices (today) years later. When we surrender our hearts to God & let Him guide you will be amazed and so much happier for it will all come together in His time because if your looking to the left you could very easily miss what He had on your right and turning your head constantly will only make you dizzy! Allowing Him to guide you, you'll not miss what's important. Even the depression will cease the more He is with you and turning your head in life. Lots of ppl struggle with suicided, even Christians, because they don't know how to let go and let God! So let Him in in every aspect of your life and what ever He wills for you will happen in His time and for His glory. *Heavenly Father we thank you for your Son Jesus dying for all our sins past, present and future. Lord I ask that you please be with Christina in her walk with you and let her truly feel your love and guidance in her life. In Jesus precious name Amen.!* Hang in there girl.
