    Who were the false prophets and teachers in the Bible

    Read the comment listed prior to this one as it does list a few named in the Bible. The greatest false prophet of all in the Bible that's still around today is the anti-Christ. He hasn't revealed himself yet but the power behind him is satan.

    There are some others in the New Testament the same:

    Elymas ( Acts 13:6-12)

    Simon Magus ( Acts 8:9-24)

    Hi Bukola. Some of those would be as follows:

    Noadiah ( Nehemiah 6:14); Hananiah (Jeremiah chapter 28); Ahab & Zedekiah ( Jeremiah 29:21); Barjesus/Elymas ( Acts 13:6); the false prophet in Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10.
