Revelation Station videos/movie. They chopped the movie into many videos (too long?). Just click on the black boxes that pop up when a video ends. It's about the end times, the Rapture, Tribulation period, and a short view of the Millennium which is hard to find now.
It's Bible/entertainment/sci-fi style. It gives you a reason to evangelize your friends and family.
If you're hung up on Pre, Mid, Post Tribulation__you may not like it. View it with your Bible nearby.
I met her, and she's funny and dead on serious. I like that. Iverna Tompkins. She's a speaker not really a pastor. She teaches prophetically and focuses on Christian maturity. She serves up MEAT, not milk.
Another of Ivernas associates named Dr Fuchsia Pickett, is a real spiritual heavyweight. You cannot deny the Anointing on them. I get so excited and stoked on God! Some might ask-why are you listening to women preachers? I crave the meat of the Word. I can't live on pizza. I want a big slab of Bible brisket. Google: Gabriel Heights
Charles Capps. He opens up the foggy parts of scripture that are easily missed. Pick, The Authority of the Believer. My prayer life got serious on his teaching videos. I met him too; he lived in Texas.
Lastly, the best teaching on the Book of Revelation is taught by Oral Roberts (in my opinion). I listen to it when I'm cooking or cleaning. I know he's the butt of jokes by people who never knew him. He had a dream to build a college for people to study Bible too. I chose to know him myself and not listen to jokes and gossip on the radio in Tulsa. I lived there 3 years. Listen to it on YouTube. Tell me your thoughts.
Listen to the music ministry of Joshua Aaron. Catch the joy of a Jew who has returned to Israel. We need to experience that joy and brand new love of Jesus as his Lord and Messiah.
I support ministries that promote careful obedience to the Word of God. For example, there is a passage which seems to indicate women should keep quiet in the church.
1 Corinthians 14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
Hi John. It is always all about the person of Jesus Christ, first and foremost. Fellowship with the saints is wonderful; but there are tons of people in church who have lots of friends there -- but who have absolutely no relationship with Jesus. Reading the Word apart from Jesus cannot give life, for it is by Him and His Spirit that the Scriptures make sense.
Mary sat at the feet of Jesus to be near Him and listen to Him...and Jesus said of her that she 'chose the best thing." ONE thing is needful, and that is to know Jesus. When you know Him - when you have His Word quickened by Him to your heart - your faith will grow, and you will have life abundantly in your spirit and soul! Every day will be a continual feast.
Never let go of this: It is ALWAYS about Jesus, FIRST and foremost.
May the Father reveal Jesus to you in a deep and real way by the power of the Holy Spirit!
The things you say you are lacking is listed in the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-25. It's not something we can manifest.
This may not come by motivational speakers or mere teachings although they're profitable as a seed already planted needing water for edification.
However it takes a belief in who all the scripture is written about. "Jesus". We have peace in his faithfulness, Not ours.
Hebrews 13:5-6.
Hebrews 12:1-2.
Romans 8:28-39.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Spiritual growth comes by feeding, hearing, believing. 1 Peter 2:2.
Best advice I can give you is to read your Bible , all of it , everyday for the rest of your life and pray to your God and find a Church . It's ok if you don't like the idea of Church straight away , once you have been reading a while , going to Church will probably be something that you naturally want to do .
Hello. I would highly recommend you check out Chuck Missler, he explains the bible with extensive details, helping you understand the depth of the wisdom contained in it.
