    Dear Douglas, below are some verses that you can claim to give you peace of mind as they have me.

    Psalm 56:3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

    1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

    Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

    Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

    1 John 3:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

    9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
