If you want to grow closer to Jesus, I suggest that you begin reading the gospels books in the New Testament-Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These books tell us about the life and words of Jesus when He lived on earth. He is our Savior and our God. We get to know Him in the writings of the Bible.
