My Husband and I are Christian's; supporting and praying for all people and receiving prayer from our Christians that have been led aside us by the Lord our God. Recently, I was diagnosed with Large B cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and am halfway through my chemo treatment. I know this will be a testimony that I will carry with me to continue to do the Lord's work and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I ask for prayers for healing and strength for both myself and my Husband. I love to pray for others and I would love to pray for you. We have seen so many answered prayers through the power of our Lord, Amen.
James 5 - 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Some points to consider on it:
1. According to the Bible, only men can be elders ( 1 Timothy 2:11-15 - 1 Corinthians 14:34-36 - 1 Timothy 3:1-2 - Titus 1:6)
2. The anointing oil needs to be done; it's not "just medicinal" like some teach - (Read Mark 6:7 & 6:12-13 those were clearly supernatural healings, and yet they still used the anointing oil - when they anointed in the Old Testament, they simply poured oil on someone's head ( Leviticus 8:12 - 2 Kings 9:6 - 1 Samuel 10:1) - you don't need any man to "bless the oil", the Bible did not say to do that - the anointing simply needs to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. It says "the prayer of faith shall save the sick", so I encourage everyone to be praying that God will give the gift of faith to both parties during that time - earlier in James, it shows us faith is essential when praying, otherwise "...let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord." ( James 1:6-7)
-
And a short gospel message - Jesus said "...repent ye, and believe the gospel."
Repent in that context is godly sorrow for having broken God's commandments ( 2 Cor 7:8-11)
Romans 13:9 "For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Debbie - thank you so much for the prayers to our Lord in Jesus's name, Amen. I know that faith in His promise's and the prayers of so many have provided great comfort. I will be praying for you & your Sister; as Breast Cancer survivor's and for your daughter now that is going through Chemo. Lord we lift up Debbie's daughter to you for complete healing and comfort from her Chemo, in Jesus's name, Amen. May God's Blessings be upon each one of you and we love you as Brother's and Sister's in Christ Jesus, Amen.
Lord Jesus, Bring success for Ellen from these s=chemo treatments and heal her of this lymphoma. Help her in her recovery from each chemo treatment, giving her good rest and strength. Help her husband know how to best support and help Ellen. Keep their relationship strong and loving. AS Ellen has said, provide the opportunities to witness of Your love and help on her behalf. We ask this in Your name, Jesus, Amen.
Please know that I thank our Brother's and Sister's in Christ Jesus, Amen for prayers. Thank you so much for lifting us up in prayer; as it means so much, God listens and comforts.
