Rick, thanks for the advice. I do stay with the The King James version and though I get bogged down in the "speech" I still keep going. I am reminded of the scripture Jesus said one time I believe it's in John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:...." (or Comforter as He said in the prior chapter) or Holy Ghost as he said in John 14:26:"but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,..."anyway I am comforted in the fact that though I may fall short in understanding the Word of God, the Holy Bible, I know the Holy Ghost that I have( with the evidence of speaking in tongues) will lead me into all truth, and show me things to come. Rick, I apologize, I think I may have been misunderstood. I was referring to the whole Bible when I said; "I stay with the King James version, meaning all the scriptures from Gen. 1:1 to Rev. 22:21 and everything in between. Including what you quoted and even what Paul said earlier in Gal. 1. Even Paul's conversion(revelation) as you mentioned, wow what an experience!, let's look at that. Paul (a Jew) a believer in the one Jehovah, Lord, God Almighty getting knocked down, blinded by a light, being told, after he asked who it was (rhetorically), that it was Jesus ( Acts 9:1-8). Then was instructed to go to Damascus and there a preacher would tell him what he needed to do ( 9-18 ) to complete what ever the Lord had for him, even being baptized ( Acts 9:18 ). Yes! I would agree with what he said in vs 12 of Gal. 1. He also said in Rom. the 6th chapter that we are buried with Him (Christ) in baptism, and another time he wrote in Eph. 2:5;"Even when we were dead in sins; hath quickened us together with Christ,( by grace ye are saved )" vs 8; " for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: vs 9 not of work lest any man should boast." Time or space will not permit me to mention: Phillip. 2:5-11; Coloss. 1:13-17 or 2:8-12; 2 Thess. chapter 2; Hebrews ( don't know if Paul wrote it, like to think so ) chapters 8,9,10....so many, all good stuff. The Word If you want to focus on what's specifically written to the Church of God That's Romans thru Thessalonians that is what was Given to the apostle Paul by revelation from Jesus Christ Galatians 1:11+12 But I certify you brethren that the gospel which was preached of me was not after man. verse 12 For I neither received it of man neither was I taught it but by revelation of Jesus Christ. But remember all scripture is profitable. In His Service
