John 3. We must be BORN AGAIN to be made alive spiritually. It is the moment when you are sealed with the Holy Spirit. He comes to dwell within your born again spirit. Read John 16. Underline verse 22: "I will see you again" !!!
We want to go with Jesus. Turn over to 2 Peter 3.
GLOBAL WARMING is a lie of the devil. This Earth is warming up for the END.
Verse 13: new heavens and a new earth. And Jesus will see us again... hallelujah!
Matthew 24 and Luke 21 are THE SIGNS we are to be identifying. They're described as birth pains. For instance: at the beginning California caught on fire every other year; then every year. Now they are burning continuously because of crippling drought. This year drought, floods and fire. Don't get caught saying what 2 Peter 3:4 says.
WHY WOULD WE NOT BE LOOKING FOR NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH??!
Jesus is Returning whether we want to go or not. And maybe you should go on YouTube and watch some of the Apocalypse or Rapture movies to get a grip on a soon to be reality. Some of them are awful, but it gets the point across.
That's why some of us are always preaching on the "Rapture". God is not being mean. This has been in this Bible from Genesis to Present Day. Thousands of years! We just happen to be the Terminal Generation. Rabbi Schneider said a generation is 70 years. I'm 70 yrs old :D
Evangelize loved ones, friends, neighbors, people at our grocery store, etc. This is the time to do it.
It's just like the devil to get everyone on social media, Twitter, etc, NOT TALKING TO EACH OTHER FACE TO FACE. We're all holed up in our secret identities, talking to people we may have never met...do we know if they're born again?
Think on these things and let's get this matter settled in our minds now.
Beautiful name, a name I was wanting to name my child 30 years ago, but was uncertain how to spell it. The pastor looked at me puzzled? So I thought, if He didn't know the name, than I must be imagining it!
The 3rd person in the trinity is the Holy Spirit. It is a person!
How can this this be ,only our Lord knows! Allowing Him a place in us is a miracle from above, just like the dove that came upon Christ! Unfathomable, past finding out.
Waiting for Him, seems to be the most problematic for us, however, through persistent prayer, He will make a way, that you may have the confidence and the words that can only come from Him! God Bless, F.E.S.
Theresa Haggerty, Again I profess not to be a scholar but I am a born again believer and have been filled with His spirit since at a tender age of 9yrs old. To better understand vs 23 we have to look at the whole conversation between the woman and Jesus but time would not permit me to give you a dissertation on it. Lets focus on what Jesus said not only in vs23 but also in vs24. Two things we need to be true worshippers, spirit and truth, but not just any spirit or any truth a true spirit and a true truth or doctrine. So how do I get this true spirit? David said it this way in Ps.51:10 create in me a clean heart oh Lord and renew a right spirit within me. It's a continuous process. Look at these scriptures John 14:14-18 and Eph.4 I strongly suggest you read entire chapters to put these scriptures in the right context. This is going to open up to more questions but bear with me. Lets look at truth. What is truth? Pilate asked the same thing and Jesus said I am. He is the way, the truth and life John 14:6, also He said Thy word is truth in John 17:17. How do I worship in truth? You obey is word, the Bible. We can not have a true spirit if we are not living up to His word and we can not have true doctrine with out a true spirit. Hope this helped. John 4:23 is part of the presentation of the gospel to the Samaritan woman at the well. Keep in mind that the Samaritans were rejected by the Hebrew and Jewish people. They were considered to be half breeds, half Arabian, half Jewish. A Jewish person will not accept you as a Jewish person unless you are 100% Jewish. So Jesus is going through Samaria. Jews don't go through Samaria. That's unclean!
But Jesus begins to present the gospel to her and she seems to be questioning His authority. It's not until we get to verse 18 that the woman starts to realize something about Jesus. "Uh Oh, He knows everything about me." And then in verse 23, she begins a religious discussion with Jesus about worship.
But Jesus sets it straight in Verses 21-24 about worship, which are tremendous verses. The word worship here literally means to bow down and kiss the ring of somebody.
In other words, if you are coming into the presence of the king, you bow down, you get on your knee, and you kiss his ring. And then he will lift the scepter and you'll be able to talk. But you cannot until you express your submission and reverence.
True worship is submission. It is obedience. True worshipers worship God in spirit and in truth. And remember it means to bow down, to submit. Submitting to His truth and reverencing His truth is the highest form of worship.
Jesus quoted from Isaiah in one place and said, "Well did Isaiah say of you that you honor me with your lips but your heart is far from me." He says I get tired of you going and performing your religious vows and all your singing and whatever when your heart is not even lined up with what you're doing.
God looks on the heart, and man looks on the outward appearance. It is unacceptable to Him. God is Spirit. Everybody that gives genuine worship to God worships Him in Spirit. We are to surrender to His Spirit and to surrender to His truth. That is the highest form of worship!

Funny story about my naming at birth. The nurse recorded my name as Mishayl. It was age 8 when the error was corrected to something different.
I prefer Mishael. Mostly because of the night the Lord reached into my sinful life and I saw Him in a vision. Changed my life.
