    I assume you mean, why was it�s taken out of the Bible? The more important realization is that it doesn't need to be part of the Bible or inspired, to be helpful. The books within Scripture are very specific in nature, which is why the Apocrypha clearly doesn't belong. I don't want to take up space here arguing why this is the case, but many of these uninspired books are still very beneficial to read. Unfortunately, the reality that they are not inspired has caused many to believe they have little value.
