i am confused, their is the father. the son and the holy ghost. some say that Jesus is God, although he said he will be seated at the right hand of the father, how can this be?

Sister Laura, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

To understand the Father, the Son Jesus and the the rest of us (sons and daughters) you have to understand SEED and how it MULTIPLIES ITSELF.

Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The SEED is the WORD of God.

The Father is the WORD; therefore, the Father is ALSO the SEED.

When you place a SEED in fertile soil the SEED sprouts (a body). That growing sprout (body) looks nothing like the SEED planted; but when that SEED matures, the sprout (body) dies and the SEED is harvested. This harvested SEED is EXACTLY like the SEED that was planted.

The FIRST SEED was the FATHER, the FIRST SEED that came from the FATHER (SEED) was CHRIST. NOW there are TWO SEED; but the TWO are EXACTLY ALIKE (ONE), there are one in the sense that when that SEED is planted again in fertile soil it will bring forth SEED EXACTLY like the SEED planted.

GOD, the FATHER, the WORD, The SEED was FIRST BEGOTTEN in Christ; therefore, Christ became a SEED. He became the fullness: God, the FATHER,the WORD, the SEED.

When this SEED (Christ in you) is mature and HARVESTED at death of the body, the you become a SEED EXACTLY like THE FATHER and CHRIST.

John 17:21 That they all may be ONE (SEED); as thou Father, are in me, and I in thee, that they ALSO may be one (SEED), even as we are one (SEED).

1 Corinthians 15:38 But God (SEED) giveth it (SEED) a body as it has pleased him, and to every SEED his (SEED) own body.

You are going to be EXACTLY like CHRIST and ready to be planted in fertile ground and bring forth more SEED.

Isaiah 59:21 And as for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I HAVE PUT in your mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy SEED, nor out of the mouth of thy SEED'S SEED, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

We can not began to comprehend the glory awaiting us.

Laura There are Christians who believe He's Son of God and God the son, and there's others that believe just son of God I know historically that the Trinity did not start until constantine decreed the nicene creed. Now here's what Gods Word says Jesus said I am my father are one, also I can do nothing without my father, no man has seen God at any time, God is spirit, the word trinity is not in the bible. Personally I don't go down the road because depending on the individual its discussed with it can be very contentious. Also there are clergy and scholars who debate this. So work the word.

You are right , Jesus is the Son of God , that's the testimony of God and Jesus and most everyone else . Within the Bible . There are doctrines that appear to say Jesus is God , but no Jesus was made by God the father in close reading .

It pleased the father that all the fullness of the God head should dwell in Jesus . An example of Gods sovereign work in Jesus His Son . Jesus the Son received from the father many things he did not have . It's simple but confusion is not hard when truth is not heard . Men intentionally confuse truth and many are duped . Study the Bible and truth will set you free .

It's important to understand who Jesus is . Or you could have the wrong one . It's all in the Bible . He is the Christ , Son of the living God . Those are Peters words and Jesus congratulated him as being taught by the father . Amen

Dianne I agree The word trinity is not in Bible and God did not raise Himself from the dead, and the scriptures say no man has ever seen God, Jesus Christ Displayed the word and will of our and His Father. It's an individuals priviledge to agree or disagree respectfully yours.

It's not that easy to discern who Jesus was from how the Word is phrased, or his limited powers. Some say Jesus was God in flesh, others cast doubt. Absolute hogwash. There was nobody in history like Jesus.

Like in Rev 21 & 22 who exactly is "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." It seems like different characters say that phrase, but I'm sure thy are one.

I would like a definitive answer about Christ's powers on earth but there are none new to be had, only faith. Jesus was a good boy doing his father's will. When I meet up with the editors of the Bible, I will punch each one of them error riddled gaffers square in the nose. They had a great deal of responsibility, it was all you had to do, and they screwed it up.

Jack Sir with all due respect the original Word of God was Given to men that God Showed what He wanted written, so you want to shoot blame try the author and Good luck with that. Just Saying. God Bless

    Dianne,

Why can't you Godly to do good folks read and comprehend the post before you wag your finger. The EDITORS of the Bible confused tongues to make scriptures contradict each other. That practically ruins the joy for me. They denied me the right to read a pure Bible, the right to fully comprehend the Word of God.

Why scourge me, then say "God bless"? Righteous-self you want a sign, proof:

( Acts 9:7) And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

( Acts 22:9) And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

Do not defend that which is tainted by way of reasoning; a third grader could spot the error.

Hi Jack. The blame that you place on the "Editors of the Bible" (or, translators), are actually in my mind, to their absolute credit for a very difficult tiring work.

Remember, they had to work through a lot of materiel, doing many comparisons against each other & of course, had to be proficient in those original languages. So, what we might see as a contradiction in the example you gave ( Acts 9:7 against Acts 22:9) because of our English words/expressions, could well be accurate by a direct translation from the original. If you check the word "voice" (as given in these verses) in the Greek, you'll find that it's the same word, "phonen". And that Gk. word is broad enough to have a meaning of: voice, sound, noise, language, applied to it. That being the case, the translators have understood that in Acts 9:7, those men heard a sound or noise but couldn't detect a language being spoken. They heard Saul talking as if into the air - they understood what he was saying, but all they heard in response was a sound.

Then please consider Deuteronomy 4:11-13. Again, the people who were gathered at the base of Mt. Sinai as Moses received the Decalogue, saw a burning mountain, thunderings, clouds & thick darkness (also Exodus 20:18). And out of that fiery mountain, the people heard "the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only (ye) heard a voice." (v12). Here, in Hebrew, the word for "voice" is 'qol', again meaning: a voice, a sound. We know that only Moses received God's Words directly which he conveyed to the people, so what then did the people hear & see?

Similarly, Acts 22:9 reveals the sound that they heard was only a sound - that the people with Saul couldn't decipher what they were hearing with any intelligible language. Paul understood as God gave him ears to hear & understand Him, but to the others, their ears were shut & they only heard noise. I hope that goes some way to sort out the confusion - if not to you, then to others.

Jack My apologies if I came off rude so I'll start from scratch whats your question, or point and I'll as a child say I don't understand.

Jack You have two examples of God who Is Spirit He Has to communicate through One of our five senses or When you Get born again you get born again of Gods Spirit and that spirit makes things known to our minds 1 Corinthians 2:11-16. In the old testament spirit was upon individuals but not in them, also sometimes God used attention getters I.E. moses burning bush, children of Israel pillar of smoke by day , fire by night. There are other examples, but I did not intend to imply that you absolutely don't believe and if that's your choice that's your right. The greatest five senses display of all of Gods power was Our Saviour, those who have seen Him have seen the Father in the way He works.

Acts ch9 v7 , " hearing a voice " ,Saul's voice maybe ? " but seeing no man " they could see Saul I should think , my guess is they were looking for the man that they could hear Saul talking to .

Jack I'm not understanding your point, when it comes to Gods Word I'm not going to tell you I fully comprehend it nobody can do that but I believe it.
