Timothy Wayne George on Psalms 41:9 - 11 years ago
Yea mine own familiar friend, whom I trusted, who did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. The fulfilment of this verse happened at the Last Supper, the Lord Jesus said to all the disciples, that one of you will betray me. They asked who? Jesus replied the one who sops bread with me. The disciples did not know it was Judas Iscariot, until he betrayed the Lord with a kiss, in the Garden of Gethsemane. The Lord wants all of us to examine our hearts, to see that we truly love Him with all our heart, mind, and soul. We do this by caring for the needs of the poor, and the Lord remembers us, in our time of trouble, and delivers us.
