    And that ye study to be quiet ( 1 Thessalonians 4:11). The outworking of study (labor, work) is to be quiet (refrain from working in one sense, to not be meddlesome; keep peace, rest). Jesus told the disciples to pray, lest they enter temptation. The study here would be prayer, the outcome would be to not enter temptation, they would have rest and strength (peace, quietness) in their soul though evil surrounded them. They would cease to work evil, (not enter temptation) they would rest (be quiet). The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak, we need to study to be quiet.
